Sultry Lumo has all the right trappings of a romantic eatery. Small, cosy and all decked out in leather black (or I might be wrong – PVC but still achieving that plush look. Dim orange lights that bathe you and the food in romanticism. It’s clean, simple and elegant. There is a bar area dining where if seated at the bar, there is a cacophony of shakers noises going off. Because of the low ceiling, the acoustics are cackling when the place fills up. There is a hidden back where the open kitchen is. All in all, a Hollywood cinematic noir feel to the entire restaurant. Cocktails are neat. Food is superb. We had the scallops which was succulent and the sea of saucery flavours never too powering. Snapper was dry and totally outshone by the sauce. Asparagus was sweet and tender. The restaurant is rather nondescript so it’s one of those places you’ve passed by many times but failed to take note. And that’s what makes this exciting a discovery.

2nd time there with different food ordered. Overall, not bad but the beef was quite disappointing. There’s a portion with many veins and we have difficulties chewing it and have spit out the beef most of the time. We have feedback to them but they didn’t offer to replace or offering any discount. Hope this area will be improved.

Best seat in the house! Was truly eye-opening to see how Chef Dex paced and orchestrated the dinner to be served. Chef and his team were meticulous in paying attention to the little details when it comes to plating. Each dish was an artwork piece of its own. The dinner was fantastic and that actually made us kept having subsequent orders, because we wanted to try all of their signatures. Hope to be back real soon!

Had a great time here with my friends! The food was a hit - my personal favorite was the pasta in lobster bisque and burnt cheesecake, and my friends really liked the smoked cod fish liver and chocolate fondant with avocado cream. Drinks were awesome, and the crew was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return!

It was way too noisy and I could barely hear myself. It was a letdown because I picked this place for the ambience which felt like a noisy bar. the food was mediocre- nth outstanding and the portions were way too small in my opinion- even for me (I don’t eat alot) and they chased us out after 1.5h of dining (they are rly strict w the timing).

Had dinner here on a friday night, it was full. A short menu with small and larger plates. We ordered the sourdough, and a different dish was served. They gave it to us as a free dish
My main of prawn pasta was good as it was cooked with lobster/prawn bisque. My partner’s seabream good, beef overcooked
When the bill came, the wrong dish was included, which they quickly took away. A second check showed they didn’t charge for my drink, which they added

Ambience: 5/5. Awesome ambience. Feels like you are stepping into some ATAS pub for fine dinning. Very good environment to go dating at with your partner.
Food: 4/5. selection is not very large but the main course especially the beef is awesome. So soft and tender. However the portions feel slightly small. Not that I can complain with the reasonable price.
Drinks: 5/5. Large variety of speciality cocktails. Definitely a draw point for those who like alcoholic drinks. Unique taste and delicious. Very beautifully crafted.
Location: 4/5. A short walk from Clarke Quay station. Bad if it is raining cause there is parts of it where there is no shelter from the station.
Will return again.

We recently visited Lumo Bar, and the experience was absolutely outstanding! The ambiance struck a perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, creating an inviting space to unwind and enjoy the evening.
A heartfelt shoutout to Josh, Ravin, Dran, Fariz, and their amazing team for their exceptional service. They were not only attentive and welcoming but also went above and beyond to make our visit truly memorable. The cocktails were skillfully crafted, and the food was a delightful mix of flavors that left us wanting more.
Lumo Bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking a fantastic night out. Huge kudos to Josh and his team for such a remarkable experience—we can’t wait to return!

Great place, good food, very kind & professional staff, impressive cocktail selection.
Absolutely to recommend.
1 suggestion, maybe personal: It took a bit before all aperitifs were served. Since it is really a differentiator, that might have been a bit quicker. Anyhow before the first food appears on the table.

Staffs are unattentive, rude and not polite. Was sit at the kitchen counter, not attended by any staffs, only was served when kitchen staffs help to gain attention from them. Only the kitchen staffs are nice and helpful!
