SQUE, part of the Emmanuel Stroobant Group of Restaurants, opened its first outlet SQUE Rotisserie & Alehouse at The Central in July 2011. Set beside the meandering Singapore River opposite the vibrant Clarke Quay, this highly popular restaurant has since firmly established itself as the ideal bistro for casual lunches and a laid-back place to unwind in the evening. With a growing number of integrated business hubs in Singapore, SQUE opened its second outlet SQUE Kitchen & Alehouse at Mapletree Business City in May 2016, where busy executives can enjoy quality yet value-for-money meals and the wide selection of draught beers that SQUE is famous for. Was looking for a place to stop for lunch after walking around Boat and Clark Quay, and spotted SQUE. The menu was large and provided many options. Decided to go for a Nicoise Salad which was large and very good. The tuna in the salad...was abundant and well prepared. Would definitely recommend if you were looking for a spot for lunch.More

This is situated at Clarke quay and has tables outside near the river. We had lunch there several times, pork satay and prawn fritters. Very tasty, lots of food and not expensive, with a couple of pints of tiger to round it off made a...great lunch.More

As we were staying in the Paradox hotel this restaurant on the river was only two minutes walk away if that. We visited a few times, for lunch and for dinner. It does get very busy so at lunch time we booked for the evening....Happy hour from 11:30 to 20:00. Menu varied and portions huge, tasty pork knuckle, chicken and steak. Prices for Singapore quite reasonable, especially with happy hour, great staff.More

Very handy location right by the Paradox Hotel, a lengthy happy hour and always seems busy, so must be doing something right. Portions are large, and it is priced reasonably (as reasonable as it gets in Singapore, that is...)

This was a pretty simple riverside bar/restaurant opposite the CQ river boats landing. Food was ok but nothing special, service same. We both had sausage & mash to remind us of blighty but just not up to scratch. Mash in particular felt like it was...‘ Instant’ type. Felt a bit canteen like.More

SQUE was next door to the hotel I was staying at. I ate there several times for lunch, dinner and drinks in the last week of November. They have great happy hour cocktails and a three-course lunch deal. All the food I tried was well...prepared and tasty. The staff were particularly friendly and looked after me well as a solo diner.More

We came by this place by accident and WOW!!! We had the ribs, chicken, soft shell crab and sirloin. All four of us simply could not fault anything at all. Meals very very generous, ribs so tender and tasty. HUGE chicken dish, almost a whole...chook!!! Sirloin beautifully cooked and crab super tasty. Service amazing, fast and friendly. Do yourself a favour and just go there, very reasonably priced also.More

We had a table for 4 for drinks and snacks after work. Very relaxed environment, with great views across the river. Drinks were very reasonable, with an interesting (and long) 2 for 1 Happy Hour. Food was good, mainly western snacks and mains - we...had the pork knuckle which was excellent.More
