Great food and have always enjoyed coming here. You get a free live band entertainment on Saturdays. The only problem is the service. I think that it used to be better , now the waiters are not so experienced and are not as attentive.

Very bad experience with the service and food quality when I ordered for the food to be delivered. I have indicated in Quentin's webpage that the delivery time is 7pm for my order. Most food deliveries would deliver by the indicated time. However, my order...was delivered at 8+pm, by which all my guests have already finished their dinner. I had paid $23 (before taxes) just for delivery (excluding the cost of the food) alone. The food arrived at 8.10pm (way past my selected 7pm timing), and the food was soggy. When I wrote in to provide my feedback, there were delays in their reply. When they finally replied on my feedback (after my chaser), they simply said that the food was collected by the delivery man at 7.08pm, and implied that it was not their responsibility as they had engaged a 3rd party for the delivery. In addition to that, they had commented that I should have indicated 6-7pm as delivery time instead of 7pm. If you refer to the screenshot of their website for food ordering (see below), it was indicated as specific times e.g. 6pm, 7pm, etc. It was not indicated as 6-7pm or 7-8pm. They are putting the blame on either the delivery man (for the late delivery), or on the customer (for not selecting an earlier delivery time). If they had charged me a more reasonable delivery rate, I might have let the matter go. But the fact that delivery alone costed me $23 (before taxes) means that customer would have some expectations on the promptness of the food delivery. I am utterly disappointed with Quentin's attitude, as well as their food quality (which was impacted by the late delivery). I would highly recommend not ordering food from Quentin online. They simply sent me a screenshot of their message with their 3rd party delivery provider and said they can only provide me with a $5 credit for the next visit. Do you think I would even order from them again after this experience? There is a total lack of sincerity in their responses to customers' feedback. Thanks.More

Food is good, but many disappointments: - the restaurant smell like "taipei street", those been to Taiwan should know what I meant. - draft beer is out, only bottle beer is available, and the bottle beer does not enjoy the "happy hour" rate - the...bill cannot be paid by credit card, has to be via Paynow.More

This food portion were just nice with many veg & meat dishes to choose from … and also indulged in the delicious desserts too. Quentin's is one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore and a place that I love to bring overseas visitors to as the food is unlike anything you will get in most countries. The Oxtail Stew is absolutely delicious and a must have everytime I come...here, with big chunks of meat and the most delicious sauce/soup. Love the three older gentlemen who play classic music over the weekend, adds to the charm of the place. Happy hour with buy one, get one free drinks until 8pm is amazing value.More

Consistently inconsistent. One never knows which dish will be off the mark each visit. The dry laksa was tasteless and the Curry Kapitan was sour??!? The vinegar was totally missing from ikan chuan, a vital ingredient. The bubor terigu was overly rich, just a bowl...of white. However the chendol was outstanding and the sambal terong was good. It is my first time to this restaurant. The sea bass otah had more spices than the fish. It was served cold. The devil curry dish had pork and chicken. The pork was tough. Feng and potugal were not bad. was impressed by the slim...waiter. Quite sensitive to our needs.More

Prices of the dishes are up, while the portion gets smaller. Saving grace is the staff are polite and very helpful.

I love Quentin's food but the quality of the food is beginning to go down. For example, the oxtail debal used to be fall of the bone tender, the one we had last week was tough and chewy; we also had the fretu kangkong and...it just felt like sadness in a plate. The pineapple prawn curry was nice though. Will I revisit? I will because I do like my Eurasian food and Quentin remains the best in spite of its shortcomings.More

Food was expensive, service was slow, cob webs on the ceiling fans, insects on the tables, waiters looking lost, etc. Zero effort in promoting the Eurasian food and culture. Emphasis was more on promoting the 1-for-1 happy hour drinks. The only saving grace was the...live band.More

We live near Quentin's for almost 20 years but never stepped in. So last weekend we decided to do so and we were wowed! The food was simply fantastic. We loved the curry oxtail debal, feng, prawn bastador (we added one more order of it),...creamy vegetables, grilled baramundi....the list goes on. The live band and 1-for- beer added to the fun although we were seated too close to the band. The manager was extremely helpful. He tried to find us another table because of our toddler and the loud music but the place was full house that night. We are definitely going back!More
