The best evening in singapore. The bay may seem daunting due to the waiters standing outside and ushering you into their restaurants, but JU95 is the best and only reason to come down here. We walked past this restaurant after eating up the bay, and had a look at them menu. The restaurant seemed lovely and great atmosphere, so we booked for the next day. When we came in we were greeted with genuine hospitality that is rare to find anywhere else. The staff were quick to help us choose what we wanted and tailored our experience to us. the drinks were lovely, The “get high (ball)” cocktail that I had was lovely and one of the best I have had in my life. Out of all the dishes we had, every thing we had did not disappoint. It was luxurious. The atmosphere, the food, the staff, the evening was amazing. With only two days to spend in Singapore, you would be a fool to not come here.

I got the Kris+ 6 course set for two which was a good portion for smaller eaters. All the dishes served tasted great and had the chef’s own unique take on fusion cuisine. While the parfait ju and donabe were dishes raved about in reviews, we actually really loved the hay smoked hamachi and pork jowl as well! The random cocktail generator was a fun touch to the dinner, to which we were surprised by the cocktail that Peter served us. Service was amazing too, with Peter and chef Louis taking time out to chat with us about their food and drinks. Overall a lovely dinner experience that we’d definitely be back for some time soon!

We were a table of 4 and the food was truly awesome. We ordered small plates and snacks and the potato chips were so good that we ordered another portion. Highly recommend their Wagyu Tartare, it's so flavourful and top notch fresh. Will definitely go back again for mains.

It was for a special occasion, my husband's birthday and Valentine's Day. A very special arrangement was made by the very sweet restaurant manager, Vickram. He was lovely, helpful, encouraging and cheerful too. First time having an omakase. He helped me out with the menu and his explanation of the fish is very detail. He's got a very good knowledge of the dishes. He made me tried some food I'll never eat or even try! I'm an extremely picky eater, don't fancy meat and many other things. The food was great and delicious with very nice presentation. I never ate raw beef (wagyu tartare), rarely even eat cooked ones but the combination of everything in it was really tasty even if I don't really fancy cold dish with meat. Their parfait ju was an award winning dish but is something I'll never eat either as it's made of chicken liver and served with mushrooms. The staff there was encouraging and so is Vickram! I tried and ate half of what I'll never eat (and I think it's my problem as I psychologically feel it's chicken liver hence I couldn't finish it) but the cream made chicken liver mix was actually quite good! Tasted something like cheese haha! The pork jowl was really good, the meat is tender and fragrant, combined with the greens and the sauce, I don't like any wasabi tasting food but this mix of the sauce was really good and it's a hot dish, I enjoyed this the most (sorry picture was taken after I messed up the presentation). The tomato ponju is really a yum too even if I don't take sashimis! The baby squid main dish is also something I don't eat, but I made an effort to try it for my husband's sake as the dishes are mostly a shared experience. To my surprise, it tasted good and nothing like the normal squid. It goes really well with the claypot rice! The ice cream was also pretty good and it went well with the oat cookies that sandwiched it. I overall enjoyed the whole experience there and a big thank you to the chef, Vickram and the lovely staffs there! Appreciate your hospitality! Highly recommended for everyone to at least give it a try like I did!

Great service a unind delish food! The bathroom is clean. The only little minus is how noisy it can get because it is a small space. I was so impressed that the wait staff knew the dishes well and could answer questions about it clearly. They were patient and flexible with our multiple requests. An all round great experience.

We had a six-course omakase and the food was amazing! I don’t take anything with liver because it can’t stand the smell and texture but the dish I like the most is actually one that contains chicken liver! I also like how they play with ingredients to complement the taste of each dish. The service was impeccable, and I appreciate how they explain each dish so as to understand the effort put into each dish. The complimentary dessert for my friend who’s celebrating her birthday is also a nice touch! Will definitely come back again!

Pop in here by chance and was taken aback firstly by the hospitality and then by the food.
For a simple decor compact restaurant it produced some absolutely gorgeous food. Having a selection of various small plates, all were cooked to a very high standard.

Came here to celebrate a bday and it was beyond our expectations! The food was phenomenal and paired with great service as well. The staff were friendly and took the effort to explain each dish and gave amazing recommendations. Appreciate the free desert for the bday, made our night. Love the food and the ambience here and will definitely recommend!

One of the best hospitality we’ve experienced in a long while. The staff there were passionate about their business, and took the effort to introduce their dishes when we asked. The menu here is very unique and intriguing. We were a little apprehensive to order the rock oyster with ginger dressing, but the taste took us by surprise. Chef even gave us a complimentary ice cream sandwich for my bf birthday. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and definitely worthy for date night

This place is next to paint otherwise places so it was a little hard to find. Once we were here, we were shown location relatively close to the river. Quickly we got water in. We ordered some smaller dishes to share. There was a table available right by the water and we asked the waiter to change to it should. He asked us to wait a little and after a while the same waiter showed another couple to that particular place. The food was ok but there was nothing in particular that stood out. Good ingredients. Ok taste but nothing that I will remember back to. Good thing they have fans when it's hot.

Made a reservation but was late and told the crew not to cxl because I was late and they told me it was okay, they will keep the reservation for me. The ambience was great, foods was amazing. The chef came and explain to us each individual dishes after they serve and always check with us if the foods was okay. I requested for a mini cake for my boyfriend bday and I thought they have forgotten it but it was a special cake and we both devour it! We enjoyed our time there and it was really great experience! Recommend for couple and friends to go, just chill n relax 🤙🏻

Already planning my next visit as I am writing this. Been there for 4 times now and always looking forward to my next visit. Really friendly owners, chefs, mixologist and crew, always making sure that you will have a really pleasant night out.
Absolutely out of this world new flavours that you do not see often, both food and drinks alike. On top of every aspect done impeccably, they take it a step further to serve bespoke cocktails tailored specially just for you.
I had the opportunity to catch the chef in action and he mentioned that their menu is everchanging to keep it fresh and interesting, and they also recently launched their lunch set menus, and the best part of all it is totally different from the dinner menu, making me want to visit them ever so often.

We had the chicken wings stuffed with foie gras, the hamachi with leek + berries sauce, scallops cold angel hair pasta, & beef short ribs with shimeji risotto. Flavours were on point, absolutely loved the unique fusions, portions were good and prices reasonable.
The overall vibes of the place was cool & fun! Really appreciate Ivan and team for being super hospitable, in between meals they offered shots on the house for all the guests, and checked it with us about the taste of the food.
Great enjoyable night spent, 100% highly recommend and look forward to bring more of my friends over!

Beautiful modern Izakaya restaurant just opened recently in Boat Quay, menu were nicely crafted by talented young chef Louis. Very tasty food, must try their signature Parfait Ju, Hamachi were very tasty, and Stuffed Chicken Wing with Foie Gras is to die for. Great vibes, amazing services. Bar Manager Mike will never let you down, must try his signature cocktail Pornstar, bespoke cocktails he made are the best!!

Can't remember the last time I've enjoyed every single dish at a food establishment. From the refreshing cocktail down to the desserts, every dish is impeccable. With each bite, you can taste the thought and effort put in by the chef. Can't wait to be back to try the other dishes!
