Location:
New outlet from an established restaurant. Located opposite the Star Vista; not a remote location but drivers would have issues looking for nearby parking space. The easiest option would be to park at Star Vista and cross the road.
Ambience:
Being a new outlet; furnishing is new. Typical French flair, nothing outstanding on the decor but sufficient for casual fine dining.
Service:
Staffs are attentive, friendly and upbeat. Polite when turning down customers without reservations. Knowledgeable when recommending the menu.
Food:
The free flow fries is a marketing gimmick! How could anyone order more fries when the main course has left one fully satisfied?
Ordered the Angus Ribeye with Vigneron Butter. Cooked perfectly medium rare, could still see some of the marbling when slicing through the steak and the portion was generous.
TLDR: Everything good here. Well worth the money! Will definitely return.

This must be the best restaurant in the neighborhood by far. Beautiful establishment, well decorated an excellent choice of wines and not to forget comfortable seats. The steak was so tender that your knife slides thru as if it is butter. Main courses are served with fresh salad and fries. It was a perfect dining experience. Staff was very friendly and attentive., I would say well trained, the way the sommelier opened and served the wine was the proof of the pudding. Very nice music was played. If you are driving you can park your car in the Star Vista just walk cross the road and you are there. Restaurant offers both in and outdoor eating.

Came here to celebrate my mum's birthday. It was our first time here, I was looking forward to try the bone marrow and it didn't disappointed us. Love the ceps soup as well as the Angus beef fillet. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
The complimentary ice cream was very to refreshing as well after a heavy meal. It was perfect as a dessert to end our meal. 😄

My first visit and ordered a set lunch. I just want to comment from my personal point of view. I know it is a $32 set lunch, but I think it can be way much better.
Firstly, butter spreader knifes were missing when bread and butter were served. Appetizers: The escargot can be plated in a more appetizing way. Both of us tasted and felt a bit bland. The French onion soup was ok.
As for the main course, we both ordered the grilled black angus ribeye. The beef was nicely done, but as for the side - French fries was a real disappointment (see photo). Small cuts and over fried. We jokingly said the fries looked like leftover.

A restaurant that does from 1 outlet to 3 in 2 years, has an opportunity and a grave risk. The opportunity if got right is that you pleas more of your patrons, the risk is you get poorly trained staff and bad food. You in fact damage your reputation when actually trying to scale and make more money.
So about tonight, a youngster of a waiter named Nicholas, arrogant for no reason, service sub-par, trained to sell more but without understanding limitations of the cook( there was no chef) and believing he was in a 3* Michelin.
All in all the worst restaurant in Singapore for the moment.

We dined at Les Bouchons Rochester in September 2024. It is tastefully decorated with jazzy French songs playing in the background. We ordered the French onion soup, Duck Confit and Grilled Aus Angus (beef) and a glass of their Bordeaux Sommelier Select red wine. The French onion soup was one of the best I’ve had – it had lots of onion with generous pieces of bread topped with string cheese. The Aus Angus (beef) steak was cooked till medium well done as requested and still tender. The duck confit was baked till crispy but unfortunately too salty for my taste. Both entrees came with French fries (very crispy but eat them right away as they become less crisp in Singapore’s high humidity) and salad (very fresh vegetables with the right mix of salad dressing). The only item not up to my standard was the $22 glass of Bordeaux Sommelier Select red wine, which lacked tannins and oak caste taste. The waiters were knowledgeable, helpful and polite. It was a very pleasant dining experience at Les Bouchons Rochester, we’ll return in the near future.

Quality of the meat is incredible. We took the Cote de boeuf and it was tasty and cooked perfectly. French fries are great.
The foie gras terrine was good even not exceptional
Giant Shrimps are super tasty with simple a la placha cooking.
Many gluten-free option.
Service is at bistro standard but price are one michelin star standard so a bit of gap here.
We took too much food as cote de boeuf was more for 3 people if you take a starter. We had to take away some food and skip the dessert. A pity.

Grilled lamb chops, beef fillet, seasonal rabbit rilettes - very good. Salad side was crisp n fresh.
Nice relaxed environment.
Wine by the glass was over priced: champagne, white n red are all priced the same. Should adjust to be comparable with other restaurants.

We had a memorable dinner here before we head back to our home country. The atmosphere and food were so great! We ordered blue mussels, French ceps soup, Australian wagyu steak, lamb chop and grilled halibut for our family of four. All were perfectly cooked and delicious! The only downside is the soup is not hot enough. Other than that, everything’s perfect. Special thanks to Elvis for his recommendations and great service! He was very helpful. We will surely be back again!

Friendly staff were very knowledgeable about their food and able to make great recommendations.
The seasonal mussels were awesome! We also enjoyed the meat platter and creamed spinach. Food came with free-flow fries.
We had a great night feasting and chatting here.

The steak is on the saltier side but it matches our taste. If you doesn’t really like salty food, it’s better to ask for less salt when ordering. And also, the fries is a delight! It’s crunchy on the outside yet stay soft inside. It is also on the saltier side but we love it nonetheless! Thankfully the fries are free-flow :D The ambience is also great. We got outdoor seating and we were initially afraid of the heat outside but the scenery overlooking greenery eventually accentuates the cozy and chill dining experience. This place is definitely worth the price and we are certainly going back!

Went there with family of 7, easy reservation, the place is a bit hidden on the road, so just be warned, but it is nicely shaded. upstairs is quieter and quient but not very accessible for elderly or wheelchair. Feed is southern french fare, heavy in meat and potato, price is on the high side. Service is superb, but we were the first table for lunch so we had 3 waiting staff doting on our party

Quite a lovely French steak house. Come to the newly open branch At Rochester place .. Friday is a busy night and we were given a second timing at 815pm. The steak was great and the lamb chops are equal good. The escargot is average preferred more salt . The French onion soup is yummy and love the pan seared foie gras especially pairing with a great Bordeaux wine. Wine selection are good but quite expensive for most of the choices. Great service and nice ambience to enjoy the food .. the outdoor seating is lovely in a nice cooling night.

Giving the restaurant 1/5 for being so cheap. We had $140 of vouchers from a previous visit. And when we tried to use them, were informed it was one $20 voucher per trip. Who ever heard of such nonsense (and it was not included in the T&C’s on the voucher. Couldn’t believe the audacity of the manager when she came out with an iPad to show us this particular T&C hidden away on their website. Overall just a cheap trick…they would be better off not having vouchers at all. Certainly did nothing to improve our experience…completely opposite. Les Bouchons Management team…you can do better than this!

Consistently great food and service. Steak is properly cooked - rare is rare - and wine list is extensive if a little on the young side. Nice seating option in and out of doors. Good for work or family. Closes a little on the early side at 10pm weekdays.
