It was a family dinner on my daughter’s special day. We sampled a variety of dishes and we enjoyed them all.
We also chose a white wine suitable for most of the food, fruity, light palatable.
As a European, I can confirm the menu may...be a generic European, not necessarily French French, but both kitchen crew as well as the waiters made for a pleasant evening.
We were served by Raymond, Jeffrey and Percy who were really very attentive and responsive to our needs.
It would be unfair to name a favourite plate because all were very well prepared and presented: pissaladière was very decent, the Andalusian Gazpacho was interesting, well balanced, but obviously not French.
We enjoyed the mains: grilled sea-bass, grilled scallops and grilled ribeye accompanied by ratatouille, grilled asparagus and potatoes à la Provençal. They were well seasoned with flavourful herbs and sauces. A very harmonious combination.
For desert we had strawberry mille feuilles and champagne infused pear…. Only half. I preferred the later.
