Happen to walk pass with family and went in to try. I must say the ambience is extremely well done and gives a very high end feel but the price is super affordable. The meat cuts and preparation is on point and the beauty of it is we leave the place without the smoked smell on our clothes. Don’t know how they do it but thumbs up will definitely go back

TLDR: Welcomed with a sake shot, got lost with the choice of meats in the menu, left the selection to the service staff and just enjoyed the journey.
Great service from the get-go! We were seated and served a welcome sake whilst poring through the menu. The service manager noticed that we looked lost and curated a selection for us based on our budget.
The grungy vibe of the restaurant was in stark contrast to the quality of the meats. Not sure if table service and having the wait staff BBQ for us was a common thing in Yakiniku joints but we were certainly spoilt silly without having to worry about overcooking. Done to perfection, the meats were complemented by a constant flow of kimchi and lettuce which helped dampen the savoury meat. Helped also by the fact that the whisky highballs were decently priced!
Will definitely be back.

Really love the patience of the staff in attending to our needs and patiently explaining how and when the A4 wagyu should be consumed for best enjoyment. Thank you also for recommending the beef tongue. All the meat are top quality and fresh. Truly delectable!
The environment is spacious, air-conditioning is cold enough, and most amazingly we got out without any BBQ smell at all!
Recommended to drop by for pampering your taste buds and snapping instagrammable shots!

Noting the previous impeccable experience of En Sushi Japanese dining, I was pleasantly surprised to be able to try out En Yakiniku. Holding them in high esteem and not expecting anything less. From walking through the elegant glass doors to being seated in the amazing Japanese decorations, you immediately get a sense that you will have an authentic Japanese yakiniku experience that can rival even the likes of gyukaku which has seen mainstream attention.
But where the competition is, En Yakiniku sets itself apart not just from the decoration that immerses you right into the heart of Tokyo (for me), but the very helpful and approachable staff makes the experience even better by recommending cuts based on your preferences.
I was lucky to have had the boss around when I dined in where he shared his journey into scrutinizing every detail of the meats, the marination process, ingredients, and then finally serving it straight to you on the plate.
His attention to detail is so amazing that he will tell you how long to cook each delicate piece of meat appropriately so that you can savor the full extent of flavors.
In short, this will now be my go-to place for Yakiniku and you can surely skip the rest.
Eat Yakiniku, eat En Yakiniku.
P.s. it is a perfect place to unwind, catch up with friends and even hold a business lunch. I hear the boss tells me that he has special ventilation so that you don't really leave the place smelling like grilled meats. Definitely worth more than 5 stars based on this alone!

Worthy of multiple visits!
The food is so fresh and of best quality.... and the best part is, the server will patiently grill them and explain the cuts of meat and the best way to eat them. Also, no smelling of bbq after leaving the restaurant is simply a bonus!!! Thank you to the boss and to all the servers at En Yakiniku! Enjoyed my dinner very much!

Tried their negi gyu tongue and it's fantastic. This place is a hidden gem off of bugis junction. The staff introduce us to different meat cut and really enrich us with different texture and flavour. We ended with A4 ribeye and striploin. Thank you for the recommendation.

Fantastic service and great food quality. Meats were really fresh and of good quality + grilled for you by the well trained staff. The sake selection is quite extensive as well and curated to go well with the meats. Impressed by the ventilation system that is built into the grill (vs overhead), which means much better interaction w friends vs having the overhead suction system being in the way + really powerful suction = no smokiness at all. The kimchi, karubi and mochi must try. Will definitely go back again!

Quality of beef was fantastic. Staff was earnest and helpful with recommendations with respect to the different types of cuts. Apart from the beef, the pork jowl is a must try. For those who are worried about the smell that you get on your clothes after a typical BBQ dinner, you will be amazed at how almost no smell lingers at the end of the evening.

Chanced upon this place while googling for yakiniku in the area.
Love the whole ambience.. it’s decorated with a western mixed Japanese concept.
The beef cuts were generous and were grilled to perfection. Variety was wholesome!
We especially loved the thin cut gyu-tan.
And the A4 wagyu.
We were given a welcome drink, which was a light yuzu alcohol shot and we enjoyed the overall experience. Our company loved it too.
Would be back.

Very efficient service staff who makes sure that your food is cooked ok and that you have a clean grill plate. Meats were salted nicely and they went well with the sauces provided. We had different cuts of beef and pork, both were just as good. Beef tongue is a big favourite 😋

En Yakiniku left us thoroughly impressed with their service and value for money. Their manager Danny lead us on a tantalizing meat journey that showcase an array of cuts. A5 wagyu beef surpassed all expectations with its melt in the mouth tenderness

Sake Tengoku is nice, love that they added sakae to the seafood and the porridge is packed with flavours and so comforting. The premium cuts of meat for the yakiniku is so good, service is excellent, they helped to cook the beef to perfection and to your preferred doneness. We had a great dinner here and will definitely be back again! 👍

Had an amazing night with my date tonight and treated to a table of delectable and yummy dishes. The warm and red lighting just set mood of love and hours of talking.
Spacious area makes it perfect for a cost yet private date venue and great flow of meat.
Surprised by the cuts especially waygu beef that sets the heart melting.
A must try is the beef tongue, a classic meat cut that is known for its chewiness and flavour, go for this only if you both and your date have adventurous taste!
Don't forget the bar filled with all types of alcohol that sets your heart on fire.
We ended the night with a stroll down the street, with beautiful churches and landscapes leading to Chijmes.

The only yakiniku I have eaten that is comparable to Yazawa. The beef was of such good quality and I was surprised at how the pork manage to melt in the mouth like the wagyu beef. Take note though that not overcooking the meat is very important!
