I am vegetarian, I don't know about how non-veg tastes, but their Karahi paneer and nan dish is one of the best in Singapore. Not everyone can cook paneer nicely. Most have tomato paste and cubes in it, but their smoked flavor is superb. Bombay...cafe (closedown) and Kailash Parbat were my choice in high end restaurants but this one is best for solo food lovers.More

Four of us ex-colleagues met for North Indian food at this restaurant which was recommended by one of us. We arrived slightly past noon but by 12:30pm it was almost full. The food was really good, especially the paneer with cottage cheese, beef and chicken...curry, butter and garlic naans. The total price of $36 for all dishes plus 3 masala teas & one lemon tea was very reasonable. I would want to return and would definitely recommend others to try. Good Value for money.More

Ordered butter chicken with naan. Butter chicken was awful. Gravy was not thick nor creamy. Its like diluted curry. May even tasted like it was cook few days before, the chicken too taste awful. The garlic naan dont taste any hint of garlic even. Totally...dissapointed. I dont recommend this place at all!More

Read good reviews for its nans. Nah, I still prefer my nan at Jaggi's at Race Course Road. It's more expensive but taste more real. Usman's curries are so run of the mill type. Nothing to do about about. Good for quick bites, not for...a real feastMore

One of the best restaurants for North Indian and Pakistani speciality dishes. In their Naan they use too much of yeast and all the gravies they use too much colour. Taste is good anyway.

The food may be cheap and the dining area very basic but there is no skimping on the flavour or size of the servings. Service was brisk and my spicy chicken pilau was delicious.

This is a relaxed and well patronised restaurant very close to Farrer Park MRT and hotels. Plenty of locals eating here. Had chicken masala, rice and naan and it was delicious and well priced. It is places like this that makes staying in this area...a good option as a tourist if you like this type of food.More

Got in late to Singapore and popped along the road from the hotel looking for some nice Indian food. Was not disappointed. They did set us up a table on the pavement but it was jumping which is a good sign. Waiter was brilliant, asking...what we liked and suggesting dishes. Sizzling pepper prawns were tasty and fresh and chicken kerahi and masala were superb. Cheap and lots of flavour. Go!More

Yes it’s an open air place, yes it’s on quite a busy main road, BUT you will not be disappointed eating here! Palak Paneer is a lush thick dark green and not at all oily, and the Chilli Paneer...WOW!! It comes sizzling on a hot...plate and makes everyone look on in envy!! As you smell the steam the chilli will catch your throat and may cause the faint hearted to avoid trying it, but once you actually taste it it is the perfect level of spiciness and not overpowering at all. Order plenty of delicious (garlic) naan for the sauces. Samosas are delicious too... I know my samosas and the pastry is just perfect. The menu isn’t huge compared to some places (it does also feature meat and prawn dishes) but what they do serve is just perfect. Service is quick, attentive and very friendly. Be aware they DO NOT accept credit cards (Nets payment or cash only)More

This is my second visit and I was not disappointed. Unbelievable chicken tandouri and buryani rice with naan bread all freshly made and very cheap. I suggest that this place is a must for food lovers. Don't be disappointed with the Unassuming road side location.

Saw good reviews here at Trip Advisor and came here and really enjoyed. They don't have aircon and a nice sitting area, but the food is so delicious you will forget about aircon. The staff is also very helpful as they advice you what to...order and what not. If you are on budget, just ask the staff what you should order. I had tandoori chicken, biryani, okra curry, chicken masala, daal, nan, tea etc on my multiple visits here and I absolutely loved the taste and texture of food. The price is extremely reasonable for delicious desi food in an expensive country like Singapore.More
