Always a pleasure being in this place; staff is professional and knowledgeable. Choice of whiskies is simply the best (and by far) I could find in Singapore

Awesome choices. Outstanding service (thanks Natalie). Closed on Tuesday though and no smoking allowed due to COVID issues. Highly recommended.
Very cosy and quite ambient, with extremely comfortable couches. Perfect spot for a quite and intimate Sunday afternoon trying few of the hundreds choices of whiskys, cognacs, rum and much more high quality spirits. We ended with an amazing glass of Absinte served in the...original way. Lovely place with very kind and friendly waitersMore
Very nice ambience and staff were very attentive. The place closes at 1am instead of 2am that was stated on their menu.
good atmosphere overall. I went there for cigar and whisky but turned out they gave up the cigar license. Wished I had known there before.
Had the Cognac sampling set for $158++. Was not disappointed. Nice ambience. Music on the playlist are covers of popular music within the past 5 decades (based on what I heard). Nothing bad to say except that drinks are pricey (but that’s also due to...it being Singapore). The bartender was honest and told us that the full pours are 30ml (as compared to usually 40/45ml for full pours at other establishments). If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, they do have Brora’s Cask of Distinction (£10,000 a bottle, auction price) at S$800 for a full pour, and S$21,900 for the bottle. Alas, I’ll have to save that bottle for my next birthday.More
A great place for whisky lovers. They have a wide range of both modern and rare expressions. The atmosphere was comfortable and conducive for conversation. The staff was knowledgeable and highly attentive.
Amazing collection of whiskey and rum. Very good staff. Not much food to offer. It’s worth a visit for anybody who wants to try different whisky
Came here with a local who knew about this bar - coincidentally, I had read about it as a cool place to visit, and indeed it was! Lots of whisky - the menu is a book. Our friend had purchased a bottle previously and they...kept it there for him, so we had some of that. A very masculine looking decor and very well done.More
Excellent collection of Whisky. Nice Ambience with Leather Sofas for drinks and quiet conversations. Private room with minimum charge of $1,200 - great for party 6 or more.
What do you look at when you go to a whisky bar? Ambience? Collection of whisky? Service? The auld alliance is a whisky bar I would take my clients to. Dont even get me started on the whisky collection. They have literally a book for...the whisky menu and you can look at the stacks and stacks of great whisky if the book is too much to read for you. One main drawback would be the lack of a smoking zone and the price. Would have given a 5* rating otherwise. I like a cigar with my whisky but unfortunately I would have to shell a whopping $1.2k on drinking(last I heard) for a room to smoke in. But an occasional drink there shouldnt be a hassle. There is a smoking zone at a few mins walk outside the pub. Service is taken care of. The staff all wear uniforms. I was impressed with the staff's knowledge of whisky. Drinks get pricey too. But with the kind of whiskies they have its worth a visit. I will be returning soon. Dont miss this place if you visit Singapore. Smokers and ciger aficionados head to Charlie's paradiso (though the plush interior is gone) or olde cuban (for a below par experience but you do get cigars) or be ready to shell the amount specified.More
This is everything a whisky bar should be. Soft leather chesterfields, fully outfitted wait staff and a whisky list that runs to more than 30 pages. If Whisky is your thing this is the place to be. If I lived in Singapore I would sell...a kidney and drink here every night. Please check it out.More
Can't really get much better than this for either a first time whisky dinner or seasoned expert. To sitv and enjoy anything from a Yankee bourbon, Japanese master creation or pre-war single malt scotch...this place has everything required to satisfy a thirsty palate. Oh and...the champagne and wines are very good value. The two young guys are knowledgeable, eloquent and helpful. Prices are also very reasonable. Only negativity is the location in such a lower standard hotel.More
Visited Auld Alliance last Friday and had gone there knowing they have a huge collection of Whiskies. But still was pleasantly surprised with the range and choices of whiskies they had in display. The ambience, décor and the staff were all amazing. Spent couple of...hours there tasting different whiskeys. The tasting menu they have lets taste a whole range of whisky at a reasonable price. Will surely keep going there and thanks to my friends who recommended this place to me.More
The choices in this bar are endless! Bottles and bottles line every space in this quaint location. The menu reads like an alcohol bible with choices starting from whisky flights at $38 all the way through to bottles of the good stuff worth thousands. Staff...are friendly and attentive. Be prepared to settle in here for the night!More
