I went with a group 6 friends while in Sg for conference. We were taken by a local uber foodie who rated this as his "current favourite", which by his standards is the highest praise. Has the standard Chinese features of hot, bright and (very, almost painfully) noisy. However, service was quick and good, and "down home" food was excellent.... More

Great food at affordable price. Be ready to queue if you are not early. The variety of food is beyond our imagination. There is nothing Penang-ish about this place so bn do not be misled by the name. It is still a great place to eat and meet.

Because we were staying close to this Resaurant, we decided to try it. It's cheap but also expensive depending on what you order. Jan ordered a noodle dish in which I can't remember it's name but was so so tasty. She had a couple of fresh juices. I ordered the Black Pepper Crab and two large beers. When Jan got... More

We went there to have Penang Assam Laksa and it deserves all the five stars. Sour, spicy, sweet & umami - all flavours dance on your tongue with each spoonful. This is one addictive laksa. I already want to eat it again. Will return for more laksa & to try other items Service is fast.

The restaurant is around geylang area next to Aljunied MRT. The food is good but I never eat penang food before so cannot compare to other. The price is ok not cheap but not expensive. Overall I'm quite enjoy with the meal.

I ate their salted sotong and it was average, but when I came back for their cereal prawn, I had myself a food orgsm. It was that good. It was so delicious, I can not wait for my next summer vacation to try that again. Price is quite expensive but totally worth it. I will definitely come back!

Had never eaten at the restaurant. Always ordered take away. A box of rice sum sweet sour pork or pork rib cost just SGD5.20/-. Price is really reasonable considering the quality of the food.

Our first visit to this restaurant for lunch. Clean and humble place but excellent food. We loved the fried kway teow and though this probably one of the best you can closer to having the original ones in Penang. The wok's smell is there and most importantly it did not turn out to be too oily. We also ordered the... More
