Majority of staff are overly rude and angry, and unlike practically any bar/restaurant in Singapore they make you pay upfront for items presumably as they consider you a thief. I hope the staff can find a job they actually enjoy.

Stopped here for a quick drink after visiting Emerald Hill, the bar was lovely and the array of drinks was awesome. The beer was lovely and the guy behind the bar was lovely and friendly.

Water is a basic. We bought bottles and bottles of wine, cocktails.... and a simple request for some water... a basic human right.... cost money... omg. Pour it from the tap. I have been many bars and clubs. One of the only to profit form...water.... what if i was driving. Maybe they encourage drink driving. Cheaper to buy drinks than alcohol.More

This place has been around for a long long time since i was underage kid 🤭 always love the ambience of thia place. Has the best martini in town.. their ever so creative martini are a must try, pulut hitam, ice jelly, choya and peach...are my favourites! This is the best place to meet people and the chicken wings are awesome! Totally recommend this place but can get hard to find tables.More

Came in with friends with a joyous and celebratory mood and left the place with sooo much regret why we even chose this blackhole in the first place. ABSOLUTELY avoid this bar if you dont wish to turn sweet moments to SOUR.More

We visited the bar to have few drinks with my friends. This manager Elise give a negative and rude approach to us. She as well scolded her staff in front of the customers which we think it’s very inappropriate especially being in the customer service....She shouldn’t be in customer service like this if she not happy service customer. Came to No.5 because it was recommended by my friends for their drinks, however the staff's attitude was super rude and totally uncalled for. She literally just instructed her colleague to cancel our reservation when we were still standing in front of her - this...shows how unwelcoming this bar is. In these times, everyone is feeling anxious and going to your favourite bar helps ease feelings. When the bar stuff treats you rudely by shouting at people it creates a negative environment. I was a customer for years and now i dont think ill be...returning.More

In these heightened alert times, when we cannot go to No.5 for drinks, I decided to invite my usual drinking buddy to my place and order for delivery. The whole ordering and payment process went smoothly and a veritable feast was delivered to my home....Including the extra chilli that we like! The food did arrive a little later than originally arranged, but they were thoughtful enough to warn me that there was a little delay - nice touch! And the food tasted just like it does when we're at the bar - delicious!More

Simply put, the staff were passive aggressive. They didn’t even bother hiding their “I’d rather not be working now” expression, and made me feel like I was being a hassle with every transaction. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at any place in Singapore. This was...a decent place in the past. But maybe they’re trying to weed out the customers who didn’t look like they would spend as much, given the capacity limits in place now. Came for the martinis, left because I felt like I was an unwelcome burden to them.More
