My family dined at Jumbo Riverside Point tonight to celebrate my birthday. We had a very pleasant dining experience served by Jason Loh, Assistant Restaurant Manager. His service is truly commendable. He gave good recommendation on the Australian Lobster which was on a 50% promotion...& this food item was really delicious. We also ordered Chilli crab, salted egg prawn, seafood fried rice, squid & 3eggs spinach. We’re very pleased with our experience at Jumbo, Riverside Point. Thank you Jason for your hospitality and attentiveness towards us. Our experience was 10/10 because of you.More

We were looking forward to a great meal with great views but the table they chose for us only had view of trash bin, dirty dishes, and high volume traffic from the staff squeezing past our table . Definitely took away from our ability to...enjoy the meal. Felt like we were eating in the kitchen, and not in a good way. It's a great location if you can get a table with a view of the river. All things considered, the $250 price tag to eat crabs next to the trash bin wasn't worth the money.More

The crab I had were fresh and the service was sufficently good (not overly active). Just hope the tap at the toilet can be more sensitive and sprinkle a little more water

We decided to wander to Clarke Quay to have a nice lazy lunch. The place was so dead on a Saturday afternoon. We walked to Riverside Point and thought Jumbo always have good quality food and wine is not at bad price so we stop...by to check it out. Manager and staff are all very courteous and fast like most Chinese resto. Ordered a nice bottle of Stellenbosch at SGD 75. Then looking at the menu saw a lot of pictures and most stated S M L portion. I ordered cod fish cubes, Broccoli with scallops, 1 cheese Baked King Prawn, waitress never ask me what portion I need, I assume she knows since is just 2 of us. Then I saw a nice picture of Vermicelli with some prawns said I want this as well. Server said oh! This dish is 50% off now, I said sure. Again I assume most resto are desperate and they often have some discount over some dishes. When bill came, I paid seeing it was SGD 282 thought was ok. Partner said bill should come below SGD 200 no? Then I check and shocked to see this Vermicelli claypot cost SGD 182.40! No wonder it is on 50% discount. I know all Chinese resto charge ridiculous amount on a whole fish, but never has it cross my mind a claypot Vermicelli can be SGD 182.40. I look at it closely then saw it is cook with Australian Lobster of 800g. But still? Morale of the story 1. Yes I ought to look at the price more closely when I order in future. 2. In all Chinese resto, always always check their price whenever it is not shown on the menu. Times are so hard and we try to support local business, but I can't support companies who're dishonest when it comes to pricing and obviously have taught their staff not to disclose the price but rather say is "50% discount". BTW, their toilet is horrendous. Women's toilet 1 was choked, the other floor was full of water. My partner said you've not seen the men's toilet, the floor was covered with urine. We'll never be back here again.More

Back again as we really enjoyed the food here during our last visit... Great service staff.. But somehow think the kitchen missed out on our order of fried rice & had to chase twice before finally being served

Food, service , atmosphere, all was very good. Area of improvement is the toilet which could be cleaner. Also the hand washing tap had a too small trickle of water, the sensor wasn't sensitive, could not get enough water to wash hands.

The staff on hand were very polite and accommodating. The food was, as always, of very good standards.

Yes, one can order takeaway but being a Chinese seafood restaurant, it is best to eat it when it is served immediately after cooking.
