Love the Indian twist on the BBQ recipes. Highly recommend the sharing platter, it's huge and can feed way more than 4 people. Service a bit slow, only 2 staff that evening and I think they also have to mix the cocktails? It's a popup at the moment, so give it a try before it ends.

Food served was good (especially enjoyed the chickpeas and the cauliflower pilaf rice, which were sides). The paneer was good too (starter). The ambience was nice and cosy as well.

The restaurant was located in the ground floor of the Wanderlust hotel and was taken over by Meat Smith for 3 months until end of April 2017. Instead of the usual menu, it would be offering Southern American BBQ with an Indian flair cuisine. Besides its ala carte menu, it also offered 3 course lunch set priced at S$25++ and... More

This should have been great, a combination of two complimentary cooking styles, southern American BBQ with Indian....but sadly it missed the mark. Confusion over the menu pricing didn't help, for some dishes on the $35+ set-lunch menu, you could have saved money by picking them from the A La Carte list, which doesn't make sense. For starters the Samosas were... More

Tried this place for dinner recently. Last time I was at this venue it was called just Cocotte and the food was decent. This time around it was a bit oily for my liking and quite a different style of food. Not sure I'll be rushing back.

We are big fans of Meat Smith so were keen to try the Meet Smith @ Cocotte pop up restaurant. The chef has come up with a great menu to fuse Meat Smith with an Indian twist. The paneer croquettes were amazing as were the Madras Pork Ribs. Would recommend a visit before the pop up closes at the end... More

Another good dining experience in an Unlisted Collection restaurant. I wasn't sure what could happen as one of my favourite restaurants tries Indian, but I wasn't disappointed. I hesitate to rate it fantastic, but that's only because I haven't tried the mains, since I wasn't very hungry that evening. But I'd love to return soon and order that seemingly-delicious tandoori... We were in Singapore for a few days after Christmas and we wanted to try new restaurants. Cocotte was chosen by our good friends who lived in Singapore so we met up for dinner there. The place had a nice vibe to it. The food was superb. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact names of the dishes but I liked... More

I would have come here more often but procrastinated for the past years. It's going to be different, not my favourite French cuisine anymore, such a pity. I missed the chances. So, I was there but gonna be my first and the last visit to Cocotte. Thanks to the crews who took care of my allergy and served us wholeheartedly.

We went for the weekend brunch trolley and it is really value for money. In particular, I enjoyed the roasted chicken, the sea bass, the very appetizing salad and the pork collar. I love the ham and cheese sandwich in particular! Cocotte surely lived up to our expectations and I will return again! Oh yes and we indicated that our... More

Description
Cocotte’s cuisine takes inspiration from the hearty, rustic meals that are a trademark of the French countryside. Provenance and seasonality are focal points in guiding the menu and the way we serve. Communal meals and large platters of meat in the middle of the tables are common sights in the dining room.

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
