My husband and I attended Jimmy Monkey last Saturday for brunch with our 15 month daughter. We had a bit of a hard time locating it but what a hidden gem! We chose it based on reviews of having the "best coffee in Singapore"...fantastically the...More

Loved this place the moment I walked in. Its quiet and cozy on weekdays. Decor and ambience is superb. Coffee is definitely one of the best I've had in Singapore. Staff are friendly and tries to go out of their way to accommodate requests. Only...More

We arrived with a group of 4 to have late breakfast. I ordered a plate with two semi-hard boiled eggs. After 30 minutes the plates arrived. Unfortunately my eggs were nearly fully rear, with nearly all egg white liquid. They apologized and I asked them...More

Hi there, that is truly a disaster breakfast, there is no 2 ways about that. No matter where it is you go to spend your money, having that happen is unacceptable, especially when you decided to spend it with us. Having said that, we would...More

The owner is passionate about coffee, and it is indeed, probably, the best coffee I ever had in Singapore. The food is unsophisticated, but really tasty! I had a steak sandwich, and I highly recommend that: worth every penny! However, the best part is the...More

You have to give the owner credit, the PR he's doing is working, pity it stops there. How it got a mention in the Singapore Airline's magazine, I'll never know cause if it was in Melbourne, it would barely rate a mention. Average coffee, really...More

I was a big fan of Jimmy Monkey when it opened. Very quirky, funky and the coffee was ohhhh sooooo gooooood. The food was great too! I went back a couple of days ago and was so so disappointed. There were more staff on the...More

Fantastic coffee, roasted in-house, especially when the Slayer machine is service. Very nice food at reasonable prices. The barristas and staff are all really cool. Nice quiet neighborhood setting and easy parking next door. We've been many times now and it is consistently perfect. Highly...More

Finally a decent, close to perfect short macchiato. Combine this with chilled industrial feel cafe & some good simple breakfast fare with some creative builds. The Hulk is great ... smashed avo + fetta + dekka ... you should add 2 poached eggs. Enjoy

Very nice decor in a quiet location, great place for local residents to hang out for a quiet morning. We saw a few single tables with people enjoying a book and a coffee by themselves. Service- forgettable at best. You order and pay at the...More

I love this place for its quaint-ness. Out of the place (a short walk from One North MRT) but convenient if you have a car. Good place to chill out on a weekend afternoon but it might be a bit crowded to get some reading...More

Description
Nestled in the lush greenery of one-north, built within historic old army barracks, Jimmy Monkey is certainly a gem sparkling in nature. The décor at jimmy monkey boasts of raw and deconstructed elegance. Exposed beams and brickwork of the old original army barracks against new age furniture and equipment set the atmosphere of rustic urbanization. The visual spectacle of coffee beans roasted, ground and made into a fresh cup of coffee can be observed at the Barista’s Bench, as trained baristas will pull shot after shot from the SlayerTM.Grab scrumptious brunch on the weekends, or lazy morning breakfasts in the weekdays. Delectable lunch and dinner served everyday too. Kick back, unwind, surf - all with your beverage of choice: coffee, tea, some wine and beer.
