About
Celebrating Neighbourhoods There’s always that special place in the areas we live.By habit or necessity, there are checkpoints where our paths converge, no matter where our days take us. These are the places where shared moments and experiences connect us – and they eventually come to mean far more than the function it serves. A café doesn’t merely dispense coffee. Neither does a bakery simply cook flour and put them on sale. They are strongholds founded deep in the history of the area it dwells, built upon with stories shared within and around its walls. Where perspectives are challenged, broadened, renewed; and the future can be boldly envisioned with insight and belief. Where friends are

Had brunch with my family of 5. Good variety of food and drinks. Staff were quick to react to constant long queue. Had accidentally spilled my daughter's drink. Drink was replaced immediately! Bit expensive but must say portions were large. All in, a great experience!

Ordered a hojicha latte & Found something odd in their ice and asked for a change. There seemed to be the same issue with the new glass of beverage too. We were also disgusted by the way they cook their waffles. they never bothered to...remove the oxidized bits before cooking. Even the neighbourhood HDB food stalls knows that they have to clean n remove the burnt flour mixed from previous cooking before cooking a new batch. Culinary common sense found lacking here.More

I was here for a coffee last week with a friend. Surprisingly busy, even on a weekday, but we were still able to get a coffee. Not much change from $15 for 2 coffees. Coffees were decent, but pricing is a bit high.

Best you can find in Singapore. Crispy on outside, fluffy inside. Great accompanied by their coffee which is strong and full-bodied.

I'm a sucker for fika (Swedish for "taking it easy while having a cup of coffee with something sweet") and since being stuck in Singapore due to travel ban, I asked friends about the best confectionery in Singapore. A dear friend of mine, along with...a few of my other friends , recommended TBB. So, I decided to visit. The place was already full when I arrived. I was asked if it was okay for me to wait for a bit by one of the staff at the door. It was okay as it was my "mission" today to fika at TBB. Within less than 10 mins, I was ushered to my table by another staff. The display of the pastry and cakes truly make you want to try everything! I ordered the highly-recommended Kouign Amann. I decided to add a chocolate eclair (can't resist this!) and long black to go along with these. At first I thought, it may be too sweet for my liking. I was wrong. Looks can be deceiving. SWEETNESS TO PERFECTION! I cannot describe that "wow" when I first cut the Kouign Amann..CRISP!! Felt like Love at First Sound! Soft on the inside, buttery, flaky like croissant and melts in your mouth. Goes very well with my long black. Chocolate eclair was divine. Chocolatey indeed. Chocolate fillings is compact and full. Yummmy!! FOOD COMA after! Overall Experience: 10/10 Efficient, Friendly, Professional, Cozy, YUMMY-LICIOUS.More

Always enjoyed visiting TBB for the fabulous croissants and coffee. As its rather rich in flavor, they would previously offer water if requested. However today my experience was marred cos the staff at the raffles city outlet simple said they dont serve water anymore! The...cafe next to theirs still served water freely, so it cant be for hygiene reasons? Cost cutting of such things in this covid time can easily cost them the customer! It's too bad...More

I went to the Holland Village bakery and ordered chocolate&sugar brioches, almond croissants and a cereal baguette with ham&cheese. Brioches were ok the rest mediocre. The paste in the croissants had no almonds at all or so minimal that it tasted like random sugar spread....The baguette bread was totally off and I suspect it was there for quite some time. I rarely complain but coming from Europe, I appreciated the good range of consistent quality products TBB offers but this was totally off. I understand these are tough times for F&B and I hope this is not the result of a cost cutting exercise. Sorry to see that quality went down and really hope it’s a one-off!More

I visited your Orchard outlet at Tangs this morning and I was very disappointed by your staff. I arrived at 8:05am and a woman walked up to me and asked if I scanned the QR code. No hello, just in my face with a QR...code and a thermometer. Then I was told to follow the que which was confusing. I provided my order and halfway through the associate went to change the receipt tape behind the counter. I asked that he please change his gloves before finishing my order. I shouldn't have to do that, it's basic hygiene knowledge. The real offender was the guy at your coffee machine who was "testing" the coffee by making some, drinking it at the machine, and then placing his dirty cup back under the machine to "test" again. I told your manager how unsanitary that was and how disgusted I was by it. I would NEVER order coffee from you after seeing how your staff treats your machines with USED coffee mugs. In this uncertain time of COVID-19 I would have expected a lot more from my favorite bakery in Singapore. I'm so saddened by my experience this morning as it's clear that the health of your customers is not a top priority. Your concern seems to be taking temperatures and making sure customers fill out a QR code survey. Very disappointed.More

If you just want to try their pastry, then you can check out their outlet in Raffles City. Take the train and alight at City Hall. They have an outlet there too.
