If you are craving French style pastry this is the place. I have tried many many in search for the best almond croissant in town .... this is it! Lemon tart, croissant, and baguette sandwiches are great. Difficult to find a seat on the weekends but worth the wait.

Especially love their kouign amann and croissants - best things to have whenever I drop by their outlet at City Hall. Food is always consistent and can't go wrong!

Fresh bread and pastries with a scent of Australian style makes me feel at home every time I try that delicious pepitas bun with avocado, tomato, smoked salmon and haloumi cheese with a nice Latte. Lovely staff. AC Indoor. Outside tables available. Fast and efficient! Definitely needed a place like this, it's lovely coming back each time.

Staying at a hotel around the corner and had heard about this bakery. We headed over for breakfast and were not disappointed. Coffee was lovely and the croissants for breakfast where some of the best also.

Small cafe with great coffee and outstanding pastries and other baked goodies. Busy place reflecting its popularity with locals and the tourists - but service remains warm and friendly.

Best almond croissant I've ever had in my life. Truly decadent. Everything else was quite good as well, but that clearly won. Worth a trip.

Sandwiches are always delicious. Baked goods & coffee excellent. This is the home but the other outlets are also good. I like to bring out of town visitors here for the familiar flavors (smoked salmon, fresh greens) with a unique Singapore touch (squid ink bread). Baked goods are light and crispy and not overly sweet. Expect flavors like matcha, chocolate,... More

Excellent bakery, on par with best bakeries in France (owner used to supply gastro restaurants in Paris) along with the great coffee by the guys of 40 hands who brought good coffee in SG. Been a regular for years, rarely disappointed. Also tries to bring a local touch with pandan croissant and all. Unique in Singapore, have to try.

Not far from the Wangz hotel, this bakery is a good surprise for a French family in Asia. The pastries were good and the bread tasty. To recommend.

Staying in Tiong Bahru

Neighbourhood Profile
Tiong Bahru
Home to both local families and transient expats, Tiong Bahru is a fascinating mix of tradition and youthful creativity. Its status as a conservation area ensures that this little hub has charm and heritage on display at every corner, while the 1930s art deco architecture provides a glimpse of days gone by. Stock up on fresh tropical fruits at the wet market, browse high quality literature and children’s books, shop for interesting gifts and local fashion, or munch on bargain-priced hawker food as the aroma of frying noodles and fresh-brewed coffee wafts through the air. Cap your day with a massage and a latte, a glass of wine, or a pain au chocolat from one of the many busy bakeries. An afternoon in this vibrant and beautiful neighbourhood is not to be missed.
