These were some of the best Shanghai soup dumplings I have had. The outside skin of the dumpling was just right in texture and the soup filling was delicious. Highly recommend a dining visit.

So the March special menu item may have contained a pork dumpling with black truffle - so not sure if this special will go into April. However, let me say that this was GENIUS and well worth the little extra they were charging. With regards to the normal menu and the restaurant - the place was extremely busy for a... More

I had a lovely dinner at Din Tai Fung with a friend a week ago. All of the dumplings are hand made and fresh and it's really hard to chose something that you might not like. There's a bit of a wait (about 20 min or so) because the place is very popular. There's a smart ticketing system so you... More

I eat at DTF really regularly and at many different outlets, however, I have found the food to be highly consistent together with its service. There is almost always a queue if you go during meal times, but the fact people still queue tells you about its quality offerings.

My colleagues adviced me to visit this place and I wasn't disappointed with their choice. There was a big queue for 15 minutes to the restaurant, I get a form with menu while I was waiting, so I could choose my dish even before seating. I think that is a good decision. When I was seated, the waitress served me... More

Came here for lunch and wasn't disappointed! The dim sums are truly amazing. Pick any of them and they are all delicious. After many dimsums, I tried "chillies with minced meat". Quite an interesting dish. Then, became adventurous and tried cucumber as well. Super! Service is brisk and sometimes abrupt -- but dimsums are amazing. Try some of the other... More

We always comes here for the Xiao Long Bao, we've tried the original shop in Taipei near 101. I would say it's one of the most delicious xiao long bao I've tasted. I've been to shanghai at cheng huang miao's lu bo lang, Din tai fung actually taste better. It doesn't have the strong pork smells. I understand from the... More

While the food is great (esp. the xiao long bao and pork chop) unfortunately this place is a little bit expensive for what it is. However, if you're craving dim sum, it's a good place to go to as quality is consistent across their various outlets.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
