We had a lovely light meal here (Wagyu beef chunks, bruschetta, veg soup, Merlot) after my husband’s business team had spent the past week having many of their evening meals here. It became their “local” and a place to catch up for a drink or appetizer after their meetings. The main reason they chose this bistro was because of the exceptional wait staff and service they received. It also helped it was a short 75m from the Hilton.
Sal likes to treat everyone as family like he is inviting them into his home and he takes pride in the food and drink he serves. Raclette cheese is flown in from Switzerland so it’s the real deal for fondue. We will need to try that next time. Thank you Wine Universe for making our time in Singapore special!

Surprised by the quality of the food,I had the veal Zurich style with rosti potatoes and my friend had the tartar with french fries both dishes can be recommended. The manager was hands on. Only one major criticism was the fans blowing a storm!

When in the mood for comfort food wine universe is high on out list. The effects of the lockdown changed the restaurant a bit — fewer inside tables but still a comfortable ambiance for dining. The service remains at a high level with a friendly and knowledgeable wait staff.

We were a group of 14 for lunch and were well looked after by the team at Wine Universe. The food was all tasty and everyone enjoyed themselves. Venue was perfect for a group to be able to chat with each other and move around.

back here for a second visit because we really enjoy the service at Wine Universe! Staff ensure that you have a good time and even gave pretty good recommendations. My partner and I enjoyed the cheese fondue and the beef tartare! Will definitely visit again!

Had a great experience, tasty and good quality food, & reasonably priced for location, but the service by staff was fantastic. Sal and his team are warm and welcoming, helpful and attentive. We are definitely going back before we head home. Thank you Sal for a lovely evening, your customer service is exceptional.

Bring here a couple of times but have not written a review until now. The food is generally good and the wait staff friendly. The place can get crowded and noisy especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Attracts the usual office crowd from Mondays to Fridays. Fairly good selection of wines other than the usual beer. Not the cheapest place to have a meal though.

Went on to Chope and searched for a place to hold my high school gathering. Found this place, great location, great food and great service!! I had so many praises that night for choosing the right place to dine at! Thanks so much!

I have visited here before and at that time the restaurant was very affordable for fondue and wine. Visited recently and it’s quite expensive - wouldn’t visit again, seems to be a one off place.

Arrived at our Hotel after 10pm and luckily found this bar still open and ‘rocking’. Good vibe. Great staff. Excellent wine list - the Italian rose was perfect for a steamy evening.
