The location and food offerings were great. They had a lobster promotion which I ordered. Fresh and good tasting. The soup base was also very good- sharks fin bone based. Ordered other fresh accompaniments such as 4 different meat balls, wanton, veggies and tofu skin plus a tofu filling. Tasted great. Service was also great. The lobster body can be cooked for another amount of $10. In total the meal for two was about $600. This is a dear sum of a meal for two! Lobster itself came to be about$300. The meal was delicious but the value is a let down. A 3 star Michelin restaurant will perhaps cost the same but this restaurant does not and is not worth the 3 star Michelin!

This restaurant is located in a fairly quiet location. The inside is well laid out with private & semi-private rooms if desired, in addition to the usual open floor tables. So if you have a big group, you may be seated at the semi-private (room with 2 large tables) to afford your group a modicum of privacy and noise.
Food wise, they use good & fresh quality ingredients and the broth is excellent. The service is very attentive. Unlike other popular steamboat restaurants such as HaiDiLao which are crowded, this restaurant offers a more quiet setting and great service to enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace.

Get a group together to really enjoy the steamboat. This way you can order a variety of ingredients. The set meal for lunch is also an excellent deal. The set meal is for 2 persons.
All the "balls" - fish, sotong, prawn, etc - are made by the restaurant, so the taste is unique. Not the factory-produced kind.
If you like liver, 1 portion is big and big slices too.
Beef is excellent!
Soup base: choose what you like. My aunt liked the chicken soup. The collagen soup is good too, but some of my family said it tasted the same as the chicken soup.
The best part of the whole meal is the unique blend of sauces. Ask the waitress to mix it up for you to get the right proportion. However, when I asked for a refill, the second batch of sauce ended up really salty!
Since it was my aunt's 90th birthday, we were in a private room with excellent service. The staff were very attentive all the time.

I am a strong supporter of Imperial Treasure, and have generally had good experiences at most of their other outlets.
We booked this place after struggling to get a table at another well-known steamboat chain. The first warning sign came when we entered at 745pm, and the restaurant was largely empty - all other Imperial Treasure outlets I know of are generally packed.
The manager tried to push the pricey items, in particular the sea whelk which was "market price", but we declined. We wanted to order fish, and again the manager pushed us quite aggressively towards the most expensive type of fish, which we reluctantly agreed to order 2 servings at $20/100g.
We placed our orders, and when the food came we were pleasantly surprised as it was of very good quality and very tasty. Service was fairly good throughout our meal.
The shocker came when the we asked for the bill. We had estimated about $550 for 7pax, but it was over $900. Upon examining the bill, we realised that the fish was $200, even though we had only ordered 2 servings. They then explained that 1 serving was 500g, which was not communicated to us and not mentioned on the menu, and so 2 servings was 1kg. The sliced fish that had been served to us could not possibly have weighed 1kg - they must have considered the full weight of the fish before it was deboned and sliced!
On top of that, there were a couple of items where we thought we had ordered 1 serving and they had taken it upon themselves to upsize it to 2 servings.
We paid the bill, then conveyed our disappointment to the manager.
He was vaguely apologetic but did not offer any sort of recompense.
What started out as a good meal was completely ruined by the experience at the end. We laughed it off but the damage was done - not only are we never patronising this outlet again, our positive image of the Imperial Treasure group has been severely damaged.

We came to the imperial treasure steamboat branch @111 sommerset on the 20/07/2019 to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We have been Long patrons of imperial treasure and this is the first time we have been so disappointed.
First, the wait staff dropped part of the fish on the table, instead of offering to replace it, they wanted to wash the fish. Secondly, we ordered 2 servings of the korubuta pork, to which they served us pork shoulder instead. The last straw was when we were in the midst of our meal, when I scooped up a piece of chicken with a big insect stuck to it. It was boiling in the broth for so Long and we were drinking out of it!!! (Pics as attached)
I have never had such issues from other branches and I hope that the management may review their hygiene protocols. Even though the manager waived the bill for the dinner, we all walked out feeling gross and disgusted. Definitely will not be coming back here again.

I remember the days when this restaurant was always booked. My Indonesian friend’s swore by this. Today, the restaurant is surprisingly empty. I guess I know why.
I ordered the traditional pork soup. The soup tasted just like Paradise Hotpot. The ingredients are fresh but service is bad.
The lady with short hair wearing a yellow uniform is the worst. She’s curt. She places with the cutlery with so much force that I felt absolutely uncomfortable. She tried to rearrange my chopstick but ended up placing the dirty chopstick I used for raw meat on my clean dish. She wasn’t apologetic when told. While she tried to make amends by giving me a new pair, but when she did, she ended up placing the new chopsticks on the raw meat. She’s unfriendly and seems uninterested in making her customers feel welcome.
Is she the manager? That’s such a wrong decision. In this time and age, Service is extremely impt especially when the hotpot competition is intense here. The management should certainly look into this.

They use very fresh and quality ingredient, from seafood to meat, coupled with a good soup base, a satisfying experience each time!

A transit stop in Singapore. Walking around ION mall we found this Chinese Restsurant with roast duck hanging on the window-- it's a no brained, 2 weeks on the road in Europe, it's time for real Chinese favorites, the roast duck , steamed Veggies & salted fish fried rice. A big smile on everyone's face. We missed real Cantonese cooking. The way Chinese food is cooked in France was quite a bit different . Glad to be back in Asia.

We tried the Ion branch. The place looks nice and quite big - they got private rooms too. The service is really really good. Staff is so attentive and friendly. They were always around to refill our water or scoop out the oil in the soup. Food is nice. It's my first time to try what you call steamboat which is somewhat like a shabu shabu. We ordered beef, tiger prawns and very yummy cattlefish balls. Overall it is good and we like it but the price is quite expensive.

The worst value meal and really bad food. The tofu came with stuffing of fishballs which had small pieces of bones. The beef was tasteless and it was very disappointing and expensive.

We visited with our family over Chinese New Year and of course booking is required. What I like about the food is most of it is done with minimal fat. The constant scooping off the fat from the soup broth is a very good practice. I commend on the lady who served us with good Chinese New Year blessings.

This resto would be considered a wagyu if you compared it to other shabu shabu resto. In all my life i never went to a resto that the server skim the soup for the fat and crap from the meat... but that wasnt what made this resto goo.d its the quailty of the lroduct. Meat ball make by hand, in house and fresh. Also the noodles. It not cheap. 6 adults. 300 usd. You get a nice selection of condiments

Imperial Treasure dominates the Singapore Chinese food scene for a very good reason, it is because they are good! If you are craving for steamboat then you can't go wrong heading to Imperial Treasure steamboat. My favorite is the pork bone soup base with a plate of tang o, Australian beef, cattle fish noodles, and assortment of fish balls. The waiters can help you mix your dip but I think you should do it yourself and select the flavor that you want.
