My husband and I went for lunch. We have previously lived in Vietnam for 28 years so are really missing good Vietnamese food. We read the rave reviews and were looking forward to great food. But we were severely disappointed. First, the service was terrible....My husband was completely finished before my food even arrived. When it did arrive, the spring rolls were still frozen in the middle and the pork chop had the strangest taste and texture. It was completely inedible. In fairness, they did refund my meal. Hence why the 2 stars instead of one. I am left still longing for a good Vietnamese meal.More

Expected a good bowl of pho and good spring roll, I was a little disappointed with its taste and deliciousness. I was expecting too much after tasting a good many pho in Orange County, California and Ho Chih Minh City. Broth was diluted and tasted...a lot of cilantro! Spring roll was better tasting. Has an extensive menu. Came in early at 5pm so the restaurant was sparse but people do queue at this restaurant from 6.30pm! Price is a little higher then it taste! No longer has sriracha Chili sauce for accompaniments.More

Came here for dinner, and ordered the Banh xeo and the vietnamese fresh spring rolls. Both were lacking authenticity. Banh Xeo was not crispy or crunchy, the spring rolls were hard. Will try the good old fashion pho the next time.

When we arrived at 1150 am, before the eatery opened at noon, there was already a short queue of customers. The customers were a mix of locals and foreigners. We ordered the Pho Tai, or rare beef noodles soup, with Cha Glo, a side of...Vietnamese fried spring rolls. The beef was nice and pretty tender, but the broth was weak, I thought. Some lime and mint leaves would have perked the dish up. The fried spring rolls were good. We also ordered the hot milk coffee and iced milk tea. The coffee was on the sweeter side, while the iced tea tasted more of rose flavor. Overall, it was a quick meal costing $32. They do cash, no plastic.More

By word of mouth, Long Phung, is reputed to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in all of Singapore. It fell short. We were first in line on a Sunday at 12noon. They opened late at 1210. We had at least 20 people behind us. A...hint to why we were disappointed: too much success iver the years and their quality has suffered. The Pho broth was just ok. The noodles either old or overcooked. The beef was chewy. The quail was so so. The famous iced coffee was just passable. Not sure if its worth another visit.More

Authentic, delicious and reasonably priced. We had the pho, the fried spring roll, morning glory, dried noodle, and quail. All for around SGD50. We got there before 6pm on a Tuesday so there was any queue. Didn’t have issues with the service either. All in...all, it was a good experience. Will definitely visit again. So much more on the menu to try!More

There were long queues to get in even as early as 6pm, which raised my expectations for a good meal. The fried spring rolls are crispy and tasty and one of the best I've had. The beef phos are also good although they added the...condiments in rather than give you a plate of bean sprouts, lime, greens to add according to your own liking. The beef stew was a bit too sweet but was tender and tasty and goes well with plain rice or noodles. The iced coffee is good. The service was a bit slow due to the crowd but they were friendly. Prices are good for the quality of food. We will come again to try the other dishes.More

Known as one of the best food in sg, they do the basic viet food very well. I usually go for standard beef pho and share spring rolls and get viet coffee too. Owned by vietnamese. Sometimes has a queue if you come at a...busy time.More

It is a small eatery and can be crowded during the meal hour. The food is good but the service is lousy. Quite a authentic Vietnamese food served here but do sit inside as the seats near to door could be too warm to eat...your boodle soup. Ordered duck meat vermicelli soup and morning glory.. it taste good except the meat served is miserable quantity that cost $8.5. The fried morning glory vegetables is rather blend. I would come back for to try other foods soon and able to give a better rating.More

Food is legit, not going to lie. But man, the service staff hates me for some reason or maybe they’re just tired all the time...I live nearby and typically only do takeout because it’s very crowded. But when you get soup or stew, eating in...is a must. If you don’t speak VN DEFINITELY use the menu to point out what you want. 5 stars for flavour. 2 for service. Benefit of the doubt, round up to 4/5. Fresh spring rolls and spicy beef stew...More
