1-1 set menu is worth it. The food is nice. Without promotion is expensive. The place is not easy accessible.

First visit, thought we’d try their ala carte menu instead of the lobster porridge set. Turned up we had a few lovely surprises : - lala in chilli sauce was so yummy, it was like good chilli crab sauce - fried prawn balls in thousand...island sauce, on a bed of dragonfruit; creative eh? - honey baby pork choplets; thinly sliced and very flavourful - fried lotus root slices in salted egg; more of appetiser but it was very quickly snapped up by us - green dragon vegetables in garlic sauce; didn’t know it can taste that good! Of cos we will come back to try their lobster porridge set! In the meantime, I’m giving it four stars instead of five because the bowls of rice were inconsistent. How did I know? When I asked for another bowl of rice, I discovered the size disparity. That’s sneaky. Decor is quite oriental, very nice. We were impressed by the lovely disposable table clothes. Pity one side of the restaurant was full of crap: stacked chairs and takeaway bags in columns.More

No chinese wine, no sho-chu, only canned beers. I checked menues two days before, but totally different. This is a business dinner, that's why I checked before, but totaly different. And we needed to wait a lot to order dishes. We need to call the...staff again and again. This is one of my worst experience for services. Tastes of dishes are excelent, including the porridge, but the services has become worse.More

Good service, awesome foods. The ambience needs a little work. The value for the 1 for 1 DBS promotion was what attracted us. Reasonable deal

We made an order with our order below. Delivery was between 5.30-6pm. Driver claim she was here but the bell never rang. We called Wan He Lou, and they were beyond rude. Driver said she had to do other deliveries and will only arrive at...best 7.30pm. Our food would be on the road for over 2hours and restaurant did not offered refund or cancellation of order. Said the same food will be delivered to us when driver can make it. It’s almost a cheat case.More

booked Mother’s Day lunch set (Gratitude set 6pax $350 after gst and service charge) with Wan He Lou, both of their food and service were just horrible. I remember their food was good, but this time, it was a total disappointment. Only 6 tables of...guests and the staffs seem unable to cope with it. Staff were slow and blur, after we finished the food on table, we waited another 40 mins for the last two dishes to be served. Out of all the dishes, only the lobster porridge was acceptable. Seafood Gyoza was soggy, Cod fish stinks, chef style's smoked duck was worst than the smoke duck we can get from Cold-storage. Ordered Iron Buddha tea but served with chrysanthemum tea, later we ordered mineral water but it didn’t come at all. Absolutely ruined our Mother’s Day celebration.More

The ambience of the restaurant and mood was excellent, above all their service is extremely good. Because before I arrived I had a flat tire and I worried my reservation will be cancelled, however upon calling the restaurant they gave me the assurance not to...worry my reservation is still in placed for me.When we arrived they assigned us a table and the food is marvellousMore

Signature Lobster Porridge for 2 and 3 diners cost $39.90++ and $58++ respectively. A male service staff took an order of a dish erroneously. He submitted our entire order without first confirming it with us. As a result, we had to pay an additional $30...for an extra dish that we neither wanted nor liked.More

Disappointing Lo Hei (yusheng) Overpriced, dishonest, lack of attention to complaint. Honestly I feel cheated by the Yusheng. It is also embarrassing since I placed additional order for friends to enjoy, hoping to impress them. - Name of dish - Empurau Abalone Lo Hei ,...picture of the dish and description included prized abalone and fish nuggets of wild caught empurau fish. Portion ordered for 4-6 people. ** portion of Lo Hei is more like for 3 -4 people. Miserable and stingy compared to many many restaurants. ** no Abalone was given in both my orders!! (Their staff said it was an old picture, a mistake-should only have empurau fish. Still this is so deceiving when picture and description did mention abalone . Plus the high price of the loh hei - this is really spoiling my impression of the restaurant.) ** empurau fish portion - contains bones and scales, looks more like scraps than nuggets (you have to be honest to state there will be bones when describing the dish in your online menu so people can decide whether is suitable for their kids and elderly- NOT WAIT UNTIL DISH IS DELIVERED AND JUST LEAVE A NOTE ON THE CONTAINER. After making official complaint, staff did not follow through.More

Ordered their delivery for my mum Birthday. Food was average. Lobster Porridge was a really big disappointment. But what's worst is their customer service/service recovery. On the very last min when the food was going to dispatched from their restaurant they call and told me...that that one of the dishes was unavailable due to their stock not arrived and they would issue a refund. To me its unacceptable , if stock is unavailable you could have let me know days before the delivery or even in the morning or at the very least hours before the delivery to give me source for alternative food etc.. What's worst is they don't even find any wrong in this way of doing business. I would not recommend ordering their take away. Dinning might taste better but service definitely turn me off. And i recommend you avoid before having your day ruined.More
