I often visit Wan He Lou Restn for birthdays, Christmas & get-to-together celebration. Their signature dish lobster porridge is always our favourite. Whilst other dishes are not salty, fresh & flavourable. Keep up with its excellent standard. It'll be better if there're more new dishes...for our selection. Service is commendable.More

Authentic local Chinese fanfare It was a fuss-free good food casual dining experience for me and my friends. We were pleasantly surprised that besides the Signature Lobster porridge, there were many other variety of home made dishes! The tofu and fried lotus root crisps were...our favourite!More

brought my family to dine at Wan He Lou. We had a great time. The food was delicious and very nice presentation, and the service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely come back to dine again.

The food was not delicious and the food was not worth the price we paid. The waiters were unfriendly. I don't recommend this restaurant.

We had the lobster porridge, dragon vegetables, kurobuta pork and Cod fish for 4 of us. The lobster porridge, dragon vegetables and kurobuta pork was excellent. The Cod fish, we thought was rather expensive. Total came to around $50+/head. The ambience is rather ordinary.

1-1 set menu is worth it. The food is nice. Without promotion is expensive. The place is not easy accessible.

First visit, thought we’d try their ala carte menu instead of the lobster porridge set. Turned up we had a few lovely surprises : - lala in chilli sauce was so yummy, it was like good chilli crab sauce - fried prawn balls in thousand...island sauce, on a bed of dragonfruit; creative eh? - honey baby pork choplets; thinly sliced and very flavourful - fried lotus root slices in salted egg; more of appetiser but it was very quickly snapped up by us - green dragon vegetables in garlic sauce; didn’t know it can taste that good! Of cos we will come back to try their lobster porridge set! In the meantime, I’m giving it four stars instead of five because the bowls of rice were inconsistent. How did I know? When I asked for another bowl of rice, I discovered the size disparity. That’s sneaky. Decor is quite oriental, very nice. We were impressed by the lovely disposable table clothes. Pity one side of the restaurant was full of crap: stacked chairs and takeaway bags in columns.More

No chinese wine, no sho-chu, only canned beers. I checked menues two days before, but totally different. This is a business dinner, that's why I checked before, but totaly different. And we needed to wait a lot to order dishes. We need to call the...staff again and again. This is one of my worst experience for services. Tastes of dishes are excelent, including the porridge, but the services has become worse.More

We made an order with our order below. Delivery was between 5.30-6pm. Driver claim she was here but the bell never rang. We called Wan He Lou, and they were beyond rude. Driver said she had to do other deliveries and will only arrive at...best 7.30pm. Our food would be on the road for over 2hours and restaurant did not offered refund or cancellation of order. Said the same food will be delivered to us when driver can make it. It’s almost a cheat case.More

booked Mother’s Day lunch set (Gratitude set 6pax $350 after gst and service charge) with Wan He Lou, both of their food and service were just horrible. I remember their food was good, but this time, it was a total disappointment. Only 6 tables of...guests and the staffs seem unable to cope with it. Staff were slow and blur, after we finished the food on table, we waited another 40 mins for the last two dishes to be served. Out of all the dishes, only the lobster porridge was acceptable. Seafood Gyoza was soggy, Cod fish stinks, chef style's smoked duck was worst than the smoke duck we can get from Cold-storage. Ordered Iron Buddha tea but served with chrysanthemum tea, later we ordered mineral water but it didn’t come at all. Absolutely ruined our Mother’s Day celebration.More
