a bug inside my eggs. Toast not hot as well. Milk tea with way too much water. Terrible dining experience in Singapore Maybe the worse in Singapore.
We were excited to stumble upon one of their locations. We had read about this and were happy to try. The waitress Sally was friendly and helped us order the traditional breakfast and another good choice. The eggs are very runny but tasty, especially with...the soya sauce. The toast great too. waswavvegood tooMore
This is our weekly visit to Yakun. I have to admit I have preference to other coffee place initially till I come across Yakun in Oasis. All along I prefer the bean in Toast Box and love the dark soya sauce for the egg. But...since this is the one and only Toast and coffee place in Oasis terrace , I have tried it with my 2 year old Son and 15 year old daughter. Two thumb up for Their silken barley drink and cheesy French Toast . Their cheesy French Toast is a must try for.. they have change their cheese which is more flavourful. My little boy love the French Toast so much . He is not one who like bread. Have tried their coffee which is acceptable to me but would really be great if their beans are as nice as Toast Box. Soft boiled Eggs are cooked well in the right texture . Dark soya sauce still lose out to Toast Box sauce. But overall this is a good outlet with great bread.. try it . Another is not all Yakun outlet serve the same equal quality standard of food although ingredients are the same . unfortunately I did not take any pictures.More
This is certainly an inexpensive eaterie.. However it was difficult to understand the server who seemed to shout a lot in limited English. The main concept appears to be "kaya toast" ie kaya with thick butter on very slim dry only-lightly toasted crustless wholemeal bread....We also tried steamed thick white crustless bread with peanut butter and kaya, washed down with Milo and Horlicks. All OK. However in the set menu you also get eggs.. Think 2 borderline-soft-boiled runny white eggs served in a plastic saucer... Definitely questionable. Saw this mixed up and soya sauce added.... Not our cup of tea! Can't say we would go back!More
Close to Merlion and nice place to have kaya toast and time to relax Have clean restrooms close to it
Lovely breakfast with reasonable price. I like Hot Horlick drinks so much. Good for health and nice.
This is the to-go place for nice Kaya and butter toast. They used the bread that’s brown and I think it’s due to the fact that some brown sugar was added. But I believed their toasts were the better ones compared to the rest of...the other cafes here in Singapore.More
I ordered ice soya coffee. The taste quite good. My wife ordered kaya toast with butter. A little bit too sweet for me, but my wife like it. Good for breakfast.
The bread was too crispy after toast. The kaya was too sweet but the butter was very nice. nothing fantastic about the coffee but the highlight was definitely the eggs. A must try when you are here.
Went for the breakfast set consisting of 2 kaya toasts, 2 eggs and a cup of coffee. Toast was crunchy and tasted great with a nice slab of butter. Eggs were nice and runny (don’t think many places would serve it in the UK because...of the risk of salmonella). Coffee was actually quite nice despite the colour and looking very strong. Overall, it was a really nice experience and I would have it again. Not for the health conscious.More
Three of us had breakfast this morning and it was really nice. Two of us ordered set A which comprises 2 soft boiled eggs and thin crusted crispy toast with butter and kaya with teh si and coffee. Another had set F with coffee, 2...soft boiled eggs and thin, crusted crispy toast with peanut butter. A very satisfying breakfast meal indeed.More
We love Yu Kun Kaya's kaya toast as the bread is toasted, crispy and different from the rest. The coffee is also different yet amazing.
We enjoyed trying the traditional kaya toast set which came with kopi c (coffee with milk), and eggs for breakfast. Would recommend visitors to Singapore to try.
Probably the best value. They give you chicken curry with a coffee for around 8 bucks Singapore. Be quick to get a seat and it’s pretty popular, the curry is not the greatest but with chicken and noodles it can be a good stopover at...an affordable price . I have eaten here around 4 times. Service is fast.More
