It has been about 5 months since our last visit, we decided to revisit again and our verdict was - consistently good! (during the 5 months, we have visited it's sister restaurants, such as Lime, Ginger and others like Colony, Food Capital, Ellenbourough etc, do check my reviews on them too, posted earlier) We are food gourmets and enjoy dinning and are regulars to this restaurant for the last 15 years and have witnessed drastical changes to it, in terms of layout, theme, decor and must say, the current setup was the best and most cosy and lovely. As it was weekend, the restaurant was quite full, considering the implementation of the social distancing. The ambienace was great. And the spread and quality of food were consistently good. As usual, the seafood platter, chilli crabs, roast meats were fresh and well cooked. The burgers, laksa, deep fried prawns, grilled prawns, satay, pasta with truffles were all very nice. The soup of the day was watercress with pork ribs, it was savoury and flavourful! The same went for the dessert and the must try was the ice cream, durian penget, muah chee and grilled pineapples. The pastries were nice, though a little too sweet for me and our senior citizens. (the chocolates were extremely nice and flavourful though too "hard" for our senior citizens) There are still many other dishes that we didn't try as we mainly focus on those we like and left out those "indian cuisines" in particular and the western food like steak and lamb as we tend to avoid red meats for health reasons. Services were excellent. Staff were friendly and extremely efficient in serving food and clearing used plates very often from time to time, to the extend we felt it was just too much for the servers! Other than our very 1st order of the day when we had to wait a little longer than expected, the food served from our subsequent orders had sped up and quite prompt. The manager in charge, Kenneath, did come by our table as he could remember us from our last visit and initiated conversations to solicit feedback on the food. And one of the good thing was that the restaurant, unlike many others, still have the ordering through paper (with menu), something senior citizens in particular would welcome, rather than ordering over phone or QR code scanning, as they maybe less IT savvy. This is a good gesture. Btw, the restaurant is still practising the "ala carte buffet" (meaning you order the food and they will serve them to your table), but it's sister restaurant, Ginger, has resumed the "take yourself" buffet since 15 April, and I hope in time to come, this place will do the same, which I believe will be greatly welcomed by diners. We had a great dinning here and it was extremely value for money considering the spread and quality of food. And again, we will surely return, probably visiting other restaurants next, and hoping that they will be able to keep up with the good work!

We are no strangers to this hotel and restaurant cafe and have been dinning here regularly since 2007. However, since the hotel was managed by Pan Pacific Group, today was our first visit though we had visited it's sister hotel's restaurant prior to that. We were here for our Sunday buffet lunch and to our surprise, the restaurant had undergone a major facelift and renovation and now it's more cosy with open concept layout and structure than before, ergonomically trendy and nice. Due to the social distancing policy, the restaurant, like most others, offered an ala cart buffet theme, where diners place order and the ordered food items are to be delivered directly to the table. And the spread and quality of food were very good and nice, in fact, much better than we have expected. The seafood platter, chilli crabs and pepper crayfish, sashimi etc, were fresh and nicely cooked. The roast pork and char siew were very yummy too (though a bit salty for me). Laksa, clams, BBQ items were all nice. The same went for the dessert and the must try was the durian penget and muah chee. Lemon juice, coffee and tea were inclusive in the buffet spread. Very good! There are many other dishes we tried (and those we didn't order, mainly the Indian dishes) as we could not eat that much! Services were excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient in serving food and clearing used plates and many times, the manager in charge, Kenneath Goh, came by and asked about the food and initiated chit chat. They have in fact displayed great professionalism and service oriented and kudos to the team for a great job! Perhaps, if the head chef could also "walk the ground" and solicit for feedback, it would be perfect, where he could get spontaneous and top of mind feedback. As we had a senior citizen who was celebrating his birthday, staff came over to sing the birthday song with a piece of cake and candles. That was a good gesture! And it was a great value for money considering the spread and quality of food, at $58 per pax and currently there are credit card promotions/restaurant promotions and it ended up we were paying like $40+ per pax. We enjoyed our dinning here and will surely return again like what we used to do before. Do keep up with the great job!

Restaurant had implemented all the measures for safe distancing. Food is ordered and served to us, we were at ease dining in this kind of buffet environment. Kenneth and his colleagues were friendly, attentive (we had a toddler) and offered great service. I like that the restaurant paid attention to the presentation of the food even though it’s a buffet.

We were there 25.12 at 12pm . Food was great but after our first order done, the second and third order never come. We waited 1.5 hours till 3pm after multiple feedback and only desserts came which is fourth order . What happened to the second and third order? Obviously the resturant cant cope with the demand and got caught up. I believe if we continue to wait for addition 1 hours the food will never came especially the buffet close at 3pm. This is upsetting during christmas. Dont think we ever visit again. Not worth the money when you dont get your food at all.

Just attended for Christmas 2020 buffet lunch and have never experienced a worse restaurant in my life. We waited 1 hour to be served one chicken wing, a few cold pieces of corn, tough pieces of meat and hard naan bread. Our three children were absolutely starving. I complained several times to wait staff and the manager and nobody seemed to care. They even admitted the service was terrible!! In the end we walked out. Thsnks for ruining our Christmas lunch. Worst meal ever

We came here to celebrate my in-law’s 45th wedding anniversary. Kamaliah was really welcoming from the reception till we were seated, she was extremely patient to introduce the ordering system and restaurant’s popular dishes. Special thanks to Kenneth for arranging a small cake as a kind gesture to celebrate! Food was great and we hope to come back again!

Celebrated a dear friend’s birthday here and was impressed by their impeccable service and attentiveness! Buffet serving was via ala-carte style (order and wait to be served) due to Covid situation. The staffs handled it really well, always looking out around if there’s any diners reaching out. (Good job and thank you!!) Social distancing is enforced and very sanitary (staffs wearing gloves and masks). Food did not disappoint and is very yummy- black pepper slipper lobster, chilli crab with buns and oyster omelette are “MUST-TRY” dishes! More staffs could be stationed though, seems quite understaffed. The ones around are always brisk walking and serving/taking orders AND STILL friendly and efficient, must be exhausted. One staff in particular I have to commend, Helen. We were busy talking and eating throughout, she checks in from time to time to help out with our requests and even going further to remind us about last order and assisting with filling up our dessert order sheet! KUDOS to her! Overall a really great experience and I would visit them again anytime!

Upon entry on the Spice Brasserie you will immediately feel the warmth welcome. The food selection is plenty and delectable. Special mention for the Marinated Lamb, Vietnamese Sugarcane Prawns and the Chilli Crab with Mantou, which is exceptional. Save some space for the ice cream and Dark Chocolate Rum Ball. Kenneth and Kamaliah ensures that I have an excellent dining experience. Highly recommended and will be back definitely.

This is a very good value buffet, with unlimited servings of fresh sashimi and sweetened by the Chope 1 for 1. I also found their indian cuisine to be surprisingly good! The grills, which are marketed as their speciality, are fairly average because i had a few pieces of steak which were just too tough on a skewer. Service is a little slow though, perhaps due to a few part timers. For example, i was one of the first to order but my neighbouring table was served much faster. All in all, worth a second trip if they still have the one for one.

Food was great, especially the bbq station. As a result, many orders are on queue, wait times could be long. Staff were all very attentive, especially restaurant manager mageswaran, who made excellent recommendations for the food and desserts. Must tried include the prawns, lamb, and mango pomelo teppanyaki ice cream.

Have been a long-time patron of Spice Brasserie. They have always impressed us with their remarkable spread and variety of fresh and quality seafood and dishes, which are regularly topped up (or cooked and served to table during this period when they offer a la carte buffet), generously. The team at Spice Brasserie is always thoughtful, dedicated and approachable with special mention to Kenneath and Helen. Kenneath, despite being a Manager, has always been approachable, professional, helpful and attentive, ensuring that requests are promptly attended to. Helen is welcoming, warm and immensely hospitable, truly making a difference in the Spice Brasserie experience. Thanks so much to the team at Spice Brasserie especially during such trying times! I enjoyed the black pepper crayfish and chilli crabs. The lamb and beef are pretty good too. But eat them hot when they come. The crayfish are pretty big and the crabs are of a decent size. My advice is to put serving size of 1 if you just want to try the first round. For the price we paid, I suppose we are not comparing with a wider range of food elsewhere. We still left with our stomachs full and satisfied. Good, attentive service from Kenneath and Helen. Thanks for your hospitality 👍

Very attentive, even the Director of F&B Ms Winnie Low came forward to help attend to customers, she saw that my friends who are seniors might be hungry, quickly helped to serve them some food. She even helped recommended their specialties. The rest of the staff were also very friendly & attentive. A la carte buffet has a wide range of tasty chinese, japanese & indian food.
