Located in the large shopping mall - Ion Mall, this big food court comprises many sections ranging inexpensive hakka style stalls to more expensive cafe. But all are beautifully arrange for the pleasure of the eyes and the taste.

If you plan to taste real Singaporean food, go elsewhere. The prices are exorbitant for food court. The food in general are not great. You just don't experience real local food here. I'd recommend going to Tangs shopping centre for some Singaporean and Malaysian food....More

Great foodcourt with a great variety of food. Tried several dishes and wasn't disappointed any time. There is something for everyone here and to reasonable prices. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

Booked this (free daily) tour online because I love food knowledge and at worst, thought that it might just be a plug for the food shops in the centre with a smattering of local food knowledge thrown in. I was totally wrong and came away...More

Great food court if you need to grab something quick in Orchard. A lot of selections of singaporean and asian foods but quite limited options for vegan.

Visiting the Food Opera you should be able to find something you like from the asian cousine. Spicy, for a Scandinavian, Char Kway Teow. My first try and it was quite good, just go easy on the spicy sauce on the side :-)

Did some shopping at Ion, wanted food. Came downstairs to the Food Opera. Plenty of choice and the food is pretty reasonable for a food court. Not the cheapest you will get in Singapore however. My only complaint is that it is so damned busy...More

Hi Catherine, Thank you for your review. Yes, for roast delights and chicken rice, typically, the meat is at room temperature while the rice is hot. Might take a little getting used to for many. We would like to apologise on behalf of the cashier....More

No they don't. There's a really great fruit drinks and smoothies outlet. But with a fairly long queue. Not very sure about alcoholic drinks. Sorry.

Entering Food Opera, diners will be drawn to the alluring sights, sounds and smells from the wide range of stalls, kiosks and mini restaurants serving up a plethora of cuisines from local hawker delights and traditional street snacks. Satisfy your cravings with beef noodles from Scotts Hwa Heng, or choose from an array of fritters from Shou Yi. Thye Hong Hokkien Mee promises to to thrill with their selection of noodles & carrot cake.
