True to its brand ethos of uniting the best of local street fare in a holistic dining concept, Food Opera offers an elegant ambience that comes together with the multitude of delicious heritage dishes from its 27 vendors to create a unique, nostalgic dining experience. Inspired by the timeless British colonial decor style in Singapore during the 1900s era, the sprawling 19,000 square foot space is awash in light blue and ivory, accentuated with brass and earth tones, and characterised by lush greenery and foliage – trademark design features of the 1900s. Entering Food Opera, diners will be drawn to the alluring sights, sounds and smells from the wide range of stalls, kiosks and mini restaurants

There's an Indonesian stool here and that's one of the best food in food courts. Laksa is quite good too.

You can get a lot of different things at different price points. As an added plus, there are a lot of stores (wide price point and variety of items) in the same mall. It's fun to go to and spend time - especially when it...rains!More

Our lunch at Food Opera Ion Orchard was lovely. The place is nice and has a lot of cool food options. The variety is quite good and the food looked and tasted great. I enjoyed the Indonesian BBQ, which was really nice. The ambience of...the food court is nice and there are ample places to sit around. The other dishes we ordered were also delicious. Price wise it seems a bit on the higher side, but worth it.More

I was really appalled by clean staff here. We didn’t know that we were not allowed to throw outside food trash into their dustbins and we were rudely shooed away. We thought to clear our tables on our own but to be asked to throw...trash from outside vendors outside the food court is mind boggling. I am not sure if this is the local culture or this is the directive from the company...?More

My partner tries to stay away from white rice because they inflame his joints. Not good when eating out in an Asian country. Usually when we think of places selling brown rice, we think of healthy food or vegetarian, but here we actually found an...'economy' rice stall that has a brown rice option, with all the usual options of meats and vegetable dishes. Yes, it's pricier here but we are willing to pay a little more for something healthier.More

Opened by the breadtalk group, this is a place to go if you want to try local food all in one place. Many of the dishes here are not bad, but pricey compared to other food courts. Dishes I would say are ok- prawn noodles....I usually come here for the salted bun or butterfly. Both are dough fritters usually enjoyed with soya bean milk. Good place where you can get vegetarian food and for families as they have high chairs.More

Thick and flavorful with just the right level of spicy, this is my favorite bowl of nonya laksa in Singapore. It’s a street food I love eating in the posh surroundings of ION’s gorgeous Food Opera.

No they don't. There's a really great fruit drinks and smoothies outlet. But with a fairly long queue. Not very sure about alcoholic drinks. Sorry.
