Kind of overhyped hawker if you ask me but some stalls offers really delicious food, some don’t kind of a hit and miss but recommended for tourists as it’s like a food adventure.

Great, of course. But if you’re looking for a beer afterwards, go to Upward Taproom (5 minutes walk). The best craft beer place in Singapore: great beer, great range; great service; good prices. The Lion Brewery is just a few yards further on too, but...Upward Taproom is the bestMore

It was a unique Asian flavor experience! You become "dizzy" walking around and trying to decide of the type of kitchen that you prefer. I tried both Asian and Japanese food and it was fantastic! The place is historic and an open street food market...also surrounds the place. I would highly recommend it!More

Dont go here. The lady refused to take my order, saying they had no more xiao long bao left. But by just hanging around and observing, they were pumping them out to multiple customers. Too many other places to try.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, super, brunch or whatever this is THE hawker centre to visit in Singapore. Maxwell Centre doesn’t even get near to this. It’s cleaner, friendlier and the fact Satay Street is an experience you can never forget it’s a must visit. We ate...9/11 meals in our time here. It costs a little more than Maxwell but it’s worth it in my opinion.More

We had a dinner at this food centre. Comparing to most restaurants, this place offers much cheaper and larger variety of food. The dishes we ordered were delicious and in reasonable portions. The building has a long history and in good condition. It is a...traditional site of Singapore. Close to marina bay and many major attractions. Therefore, it worth a visit even if you do not want to eat there. I wish I could coma back here and highly recommend this hawker food center to every tourist.More

Great experience for massive variety of Asian street food. The street BBQs with various satay skewers and prawns were definitely our favourites. Whole selection of noodles, rice dishes, seafood, vegetarian etc. Grab your food, grab your drink and sit anywhere. Really busy and buzzing but...super safe.More

Excellent spot for cheap authentic food and drinks. A wide range of choices at very reasonable prices. You see a lot of locals eating here which speaks for itself.

Too much hassle for a family. Lots is waiting for average tasting food. Waited 25 minutes for a chicken wrap!! Poorly organised, much prefer how we do it in uk where you order from your table. Wouldn’t visit again

Fantastic food experience, the inside area with what must be over 100 stalls offering fantastic food & drinks. Then stepped outside to Satay Road and it was just a massive assault to all the senses. IT WAS FABULOUS! The smells, noises and watching the few...stalls cooking fresh fish and meat on the BBQs was a sight to behold. If you go anywhere in Singapore, make sure you visit here.More

We went to satay street and ate at stalls 7-8. They only start serving satay at 7p. We got the chicken satay and it was amazing. Get there early. We got there at 645 and had to wait until 715. The line was huge by...then. The other one we tried and loved was the Shanghai Fried Xiao buns. They fry the bao buns on one side and the pork was so good. This should be a must try hawker center.More

Brilliant hawkers market, set within a grand old hall. We shared 8 delicious steamed vegetarian dumplings with chilli oil ($7.40 SGD), before a peppermint milk tea from the stall next door. Predominantly Asian & Indian dining options. Bustling atmosphere, tasty & very reasonably priced food....Family friendly.More

This is a great spot. There are families, couples, friends and all those combined who are here having dinner. It has changed slightly since when we were here pre-covid but hasn't lost its bustly charm. Just order lots of food and wait for it to...be cooked over the coals and bring it to your table. Add beer and it is a great atmosphere. It actually wasn't all tourists but a lot of local people too.More
