Exploring the sights and sounds of Singapore requires a lot of walking. I stumbled upon this nook located near the Little India neighborhood and was not disappointed. Service was efficient and friendly. Loved their Shakshouka Eggs. This Middle East dish of poached eggs in a...spicy tomato stew of chickpeas, peppers and fresh salsa balanced with a slice of fresh sourdough bread hit the spot.More

Ambience: 4.5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Customer Service: 4/5 Quality of Food: 5/5 Value for Money: 4.5/5 -Dishes- Rosti w Cheesy Sausage: 4.5/5 Shakshouka w Eggs + Brat: 5/5 A delightful experience for my family, we were here and tried two very exquisite dishes. Shakshouka came with...Sourdough Bread that’s very balanced, (which I love, but folks might prefer it more towards the sour side.. think the intent is to use it to compliment the Shakshouka) with the Bratwurst, it added a much needed fragrance to the Shakshouka, which was overall quite incredible! Will come again, excellent work!More

Arrived and sat down to a full menu on offer - went to order to be told that most of the menu was not available - my issue is, why not tell your guests before they sit down so they are aware? Transparency I'd key....The pic attached was a few hours later when we walked past the restaurant. When we were there, the only sign notifying anyone of the lack of options, was at the counter inside, where you order. Only positive, staff were smiley and friendly which is rare around Singapore sadly.More

I couldn't rate this place any higher if I tried. The menu is great with something for everybody. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food came out within 5 to 7 minutes. The chocolate ice blends are also to die for. Best food I've had...in singapore. Devastated I only found it on the last day.More

Coffee with just the right amount of brightness and nice after taste. The place is a bit crowded to eat in. But ordering take away is simple and fast

Nestled at the foot of a HDB block, this cosy cafe offers good lunch options and coffee. It is usually crowded and one would be lucky to get a table.

I went for coffee but disappointed. Mocha not up to standard. Taste like mixing together instant chocolate mix, instant creaming powder and average diluted coffee, and stand for 15 minutes before serving to me. Billed too much for this quality and the little portion of...food.More

TLDR: Very amazing French toast with fluffiness out of this world but other mains were mediocre to decent at best. Coffee and tea were average to good. Be prepared to queue for 20 mins or more to get a table and another 10-20 mins for...food Hearing the numerous great reviews regarding Tolido, I decided to come down to try the food in person. Deciding to go for a brunch almost lunch, I arrived there at around 11.30 and there was already a long queue of at least 5 people ahead of me. The queue went by alright and I got my table 25 mins of waiting. Food came in about 15-20 mins which was acceptable. The French toast came first and it is very good. I cannot stress this enough. It is very very good. The French toast was so fluffy it was almost akin to eating scrambled eggs with the stout glaze adding a pleasent sweetness to tatse. One of the best French toast in SG full stop. I ordered a beef stew and a rosti with sausage as well. However these were pretty dissapointing. The beef stew was a flop. The mashed potato was chunky and rough. The stew was alright, nothing to shout about. The beef was decent. Sadly, the carrots in the stew was the best part. It was soft, tender and flavourful, absorbing the stew while it was stewing. The rosti was average and honestly a tad too saltish. It tasted pretty good like a combination of fried and mashed potato. Unhealthy but hey it tatse pretty good. The sausage was good ol chicken cheese sausage which I'll add is very saltish. Overall pretty average. I ordered the cold brew, hot chocolate and hojicha latte. Cold brew was alright but since no sugar or milk or anything it was a tad bitte but still pretty good. Hot chocolate was average while the hojicha latte was good.More

Finally managed to head down with much excitement after hearing excellent reviews on their coffee menu. Tried the sea salt caramel latte based on the recommendation of the barista and it did not disappoint. Perfect for the scorching hot weather. Will definitely be back for...more. The line to dine in is quite long though, so do plan ahead.More

The first time we tried to get in the quest was an hour, so after twenty minutes we walked off and found a cute little breakfast cafe called 'Working Title' (783 North Bridge Road). Which made great milkshakes-peanut butter or chocolate cake. Our second visit...to Tolido's Nook were were prepared for the long wait. Finally after an hour we sat down. A small interior with group size has probably badly impacted this hardworking cafe. There is also an hour wait for the Rosti breakfast which sounds delicious but its a bridge too far. The French Toast (this is why I'm writing is amazing. Crunchy fluff. The coffee is a little bitter. The Upside: Great, efficient, hardworking staff. THE FRENCH TOAST! My recommendations is to order take-out and find a bench around the corner at the hawker centre and have your Tolido breakfast there.More

Accidentally came across this nook when our usual breakfast place was closed during the lockdown. Hooked on their stout toast and rosti! Their ultimate breakfast is great and awesome coffee too. Service has been great! Had to queue most of the times we were there...except those times that we were there before opening time. Must try!More
