The story of the birth of Alleybar from its website is very attractive. It's a great idea to turn an alley into a bar/restaurant venue. The venue looks great and welcoming, definitely a place you would love hang out with a group of friends.
The disappointment is the services, the quality of the bar and the food. They are just not there to support a quality venue of this kind. The attention of the staff is very low. Once they provide you with your bottle of wine, they don't serve you with it. You serve your own even though they are not busy! Any request you asked for are either being ignored or didn't get executed.
It took us more than an hour to get our food and the ribs are pretty disappointed. The sauce and the ribs taste separately as if the ribs has not been marinated with the sauce. The bar is not a fully equipped bar, They can't even serve you with a glass of warm/hot water.
It is a pity that the venue is spoiled by the quality of their services and their F&B quality. I strongly recommend the restaurant to review the feedback and do something to revamp the brand.

I would say that the food was excellent. The atmosphere was classy and amazing, with the service being extremely good as well. However, as this was a more extravagant area, the price points are higher than average and not recommended if you would like to save money. If money is not an issue for you and you are looking for a good experience , I would 100% recommend Alley Bar to you. Cheers!

Visited early on a Saturday evening. The staff were warm and welcoming, the chicken satay was just what I needed, and the ambience chilled and relaxed. It’s a well-designed up-market bar in the heritage street of Emerald Hill, just off Orchard Road. Great place to start an evening.

The service was atrocious tonight at Alley Bar. It feels like the staff took no pride in their service, and couldn't care less about the well-being of their customers. The worst part of the night was being very rudely chased out and forcefully finishing the drinks which we ordered a few minutes before closing time (which would have not been the case had said staff stopped taking orders after a certain). So instead, us as patrons were very rudely and harshly chased to finish our drinks. I find this extremely unacceptable and disappointing. I completely respect the rules of phase two and the need to adhere to these rules but how the staff dealt with the limitations was by far the worst I've seen at an F&B joint since Phase 2.

Seriously I know is that alcohol is expensive in Singapore but oh my god this place - $60 for two “special “cocktails which was simply cordial laced with a dash of merlot . Such a pompous nonsense explanation as to why there was no alcohol in the cocktail beggars belief.
Nice setting on the other hand. Obviously the street is fabulous

Servers were unfriendly and they tried to cheat me with substituting my ordered Lagavulin 16 with some cheaper whisky…twice. After they realized that see them behind the bar from my table, and I walked with them and pointed out which bottle to pour from, they apologized. Yet, they still had the nerve to put it on the bill. Embarrassing really. The cocktails my friends ordered were ok, but I doubt we’re ever coming back.

In the old-fashioned Helmand Hill street this place is immediately noted for its refined decor that stands out from the outside. Asian fusion food and drinks are of superior quality. Average prices. Attentive and courteous service.

A good place to chill and relax after work or for a friends gathering.
Located at the center so quite convenient.
Alot of bar and restaurant neibors , so it's a good vibe all around the area.
Food and drinks were alright.
It was a quick visit so can't tell you more but It was a good experience.

Went there to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The crisps were wonderful with the provided sambal belacan. Tried their Jungle Bird cocktail - fantastic. Mains were good too. Altogether a great dining experience.

We Got a fantastic Singapore Sling in Allybar which is a “must” when you go to Singapore.
They also served well prepared food.

My go to for the longest time - they do a good happy hour & the bar bites are Peranakan inspired - definitely get the Tauhu Goreng & Sambal mushrooms - to die for!

we choosed some signature cocktail (25++)and side dish( around 24++), then realised that the food option is limited and three side dish we ordered is quite expensive, there are a few easy to go places nearby and price is reasonable.

Food and service was disappointed! Order truffle fries but theres no taste or smell of truffle on it! Second order bottle of wine and we are the one who pouring it even the staff saw us already that we are puoring it by ourself despit that the service charge was quite high and their prices are high as well but the service wasnt there! The ambiance is okay but it will appreciated if the staff is not standing in front of the bar!
