German style food. Delicious! We ordered pizza. Thin and crispy is how we like it to be and that’s exactly what we got! Will definitely go back.

I made this reservation for my husband's birthday particularly because he loves Rostii. Our experience from the moment we got it was very underwhelming. The staff wasnt conversant with the menu and got us a trout appetizer instead of the raclette bread inspite of having...categorically mentioned that we are vegetarian. The raclette bread itself tasted stale and hard and there was nothing German about ti. The Rostii when it arrived tasting dry and stale, like potato had just been defrosted. We had to leave the restaurant and the rest of the order because this was a birthday dinner and we had to cut our losses, while having paid for it in full.More

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Leopold the other day. Stealthily, I ordered flowers in advanced to be delivered to Leopold so as to spring a surprised for my wife. Leopold was very cooperative and accommodating. When we arrived, not only was the assigned table...beautifully decorated with the bouquet in a jar (and still very fresh!), there were a little chalkboard with hand-written congratulatory note and specially birthday-engraved napkins. We ordered goulasch, slow-cooked pork collar, green salad, and apple strudel. They were delicious and highly recommended!!More
Thank you so much! We are very very happy to help creating a wonderful birthday experience! All the best to you and we hope to see you again soon
Booked this for an early Valentine's dinner with my partner, staff granted my request for a large table despite only having 2 pax. Food was excellent and very reminiscent of my trip to Austria! Huge portions as well for the sausages. Grilled arctic char and...chocolate dumplings were divine - our favourites.More
I dined at Leopold twice in the last month, returning a second time with a friend for lunch on a Saturday after a great experience on my first visit with my husband for dinner. I chose Leopold because I was craving some German comfort food,...and it was recommended to me by a German friend. We were very impressed with the food, it was all delic ious and the portions were huge! We shared pretzels and dip to start, and the pretzels were warm and chewy, seemingly fresh out of the oven. My husband enjoyed his schnitzel, and the cheese spatzle, which is the dish I specifically visited for, was excellent, as good as any we had in Germany! I enjoyed every bite of it. For dessert we shared a kaiserschmarren, which was also very tasty. On my second visit I tried the special Oktoberfest menu, and was very happy with both the chanterelles with bread dumpling and the plum cake. My (very picky) vegetarian friend tried the cheese spatzle on my recommendation, and also loved it; he completely devoured it. And to top off the great food, the service is just as fantastic. The owner Klaus was quick to reply to a couple of emails I sent ahead of time, and was incredibly helpful and accommodating to my requests. The service continued when we dined in. On both occasions our servers were friendly, welcoming and didn't rush us to vacate our table, and the manager we met on our first visit, Sharleen, was also very kind and warm throughout our dining time. This lovely combination of welcoming staff and great food is one that will keep us coming back for sure!More
The female service staff (could be manager, not sure) who was manning the check-ins and register was unbelievably rude and curt in all her interactions with customers. Food took 40 mins to arrive despite the place being half full, and this same female staff chucked...the plates onto our table, barely an inch from my face. Basic customer service and courtesy says you find a gap in between diners to serve food, not pass the plate over someone’s head. Pretty shocking. When the food finally arrived after 40 long minutes, we found a plastic shard in the mushroom flammkuchen, which my friend spotted before any damage was done. Someone could’ve been injured. When we informed the staff, leopold made zero attempt at service recovery, merely removing the dish from our table. We were of course flabbergasted at their terrible attitude and service and won’t be visiting again. Food’s average, prices on the high side, service absolutely horrifying.More
Love this place with friends & date night. Their own gin, is fantastic. Professional , friendly well trained staff. Highly recommend.
Dear Sarah, Thank you for taking time to write in a review. We are glad that you have enjoy your evening with us. Your great review and support will motivate the staff. We hope to see you again.
Very friendly staff. Good German food and nice drinks. We enjoyed our evening dinner. Cosy atmosphere. Coming back soon.
Leopold has a decent menu with vegetarian options and quite an extensive drinks list. Four of us got red wines which were real good, the signature G&T, dry G&T and a white wine. For food, we got the cheese fondue - great for sharing, but...the cheese fondue solidified as the candle went out, cheese spätzle pasta - served warm with crispy fried onion rings, a side of warm sauerkraut & emperor's pancake with plum compote - unfortunately the pancake wasn't warm when served but the compote made up for it. Service is great because I had waited half an hour for my friends at our reserved table with some wine & the staff didn't bother me at all. The only downside was that we got a table outside (sheltered) next to a group of smokers while we weren't smokers. Toilet cubicle is clean and spacious but remember to knock the door in case the person inside forgot to lock the door. Venue is very walkable from Tanjong Pagar & Chinatown mrt.More
Very friendly staff. Nice austrian/german/swiss alpine bites and drinks. Cosy styled austrian gastrobar. Nice atmosphere.
we reserved for a larger group the place is always quite crowded which usually is a good sign my asian colleagues enjoyed the various Austrian dishes - we tried the leopolds jausenplatten - very typical Austrian meat and cheese platter and Leberkaese mit Spiegelei and...of course the roasted pork (Schweinsbraten) the paulaner lager beer is very nice and if you come before eight it is a little cheaper. the service was excellent and attentive. its not a cheap eat but comparing service, quality of food and drinks with the price it is worth it. we had a very enjoyable evening can warmly recommend the place for gatherings with business colleagues or friendsMore
Enjoy 30% off, off peak hour chope voucher. Love the cured meat platter & mini schnitzel from pork tenderloin. The portion and just nice for 2 pax. End the meal with a rather unique and melt in the mouth homemade apple strudel Love the ambience...here, great place to hang out with your love ones.More
