Taste was only just acceptable but this is not a Bak Kut Teh place as it lacks all the typical Singapore side dishes that accompany what we call Bak Kut Teh. This is more akin to maximising profits by limiting dishes to those with a...decent margin. In this sense the experience was disappointing vis a vis real bak Kut Teh places like Founders or Song Fa. I placed my order and when the food was delivered by Deliveroo, i found out that they had given me one portion of bah kut teh soup instead of 2. After calling back to the branch at Punggol Central and spoke to the lady, was...told the bah kut teh soup will be delivered. After waiting for 30 minutes, the food was still not delivered and I called back again. This time, the lady told me i have to place another order so that they can deliver that new order together with the bah kut teh soup that they have previously not delivered. As a customer, i have to pay extra to get my food which i had earlier paid but not delivered to be deliver to me again!!! Rong Hua bah kut teh mistake became my mistake as i got to place another order, spend extra to get my food!!!More

2nd time to eat at marina square branch, the lady in the counter wearing black notice i was pregnant and it was very genuine and kind of her to immediately change my chair to those with the back rest. Even though i was seating alone....Food as usual was fantastic specially the soup of the pork ribs. Will always come back!More

We asked the waitress for her recommendation and ordered a selection of dishes we had never tried before. They were all great. The pork ribs soup was delicious and was topped up as the meal progressed. Braised pork trotters with intestines was a tasty surprise...as...was the spinach with abalone. There are a number of reataurants to choose from in that location and we were really happy with our choice. Unique flavours and friendly helpful staff.More

I frequent the Punggol outlet regularly and I noticed the portions are shrinking. I hope the management realises that loyal customers may decide it is no longer worth while of we continue to feel short changed. Please look into this outlet's reducing serving size.More

I was taken to rong hua by one of my Singaporean friend. The place was pretty packed during a Friday evening after work. We still managed to get a place for us two. The food was really good. It comes with unlimited amount of top...ups on the soup. They make sure that your Bak Kut Teh is topped up from time to time. For beginners who do not know how to handle a chop stick, you should ask for a fork and a spoon. They should be happy to assist you. Order a plain noodle with the Bak kut Teh and you should be having a nice meal. The tea was also served in a traditional Chinese tea set. For toddlers, they do provide kids chair. The place is easily accessible from the east wing and opens until 10 PM. It is a great value for money and good taste.More

It's usually difficult to find restaurants that serve very good pork rib soup - in this case while not amazing, it's good enough that I will definitely return for a visit. I'd skip the prawn roll side dish however, as it seemed to be stuffed...with yam only.More

There aren't enough managements that cares about small reviews to actually improve the place and reinstill...confidence in the customers. But this is a perfect example of a place well ran. Strongly recommended.) Food was excellent and waiters were really friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, that all was in past tense; today the service was really sub-par and the fried chicken we order had quite a bit of feathers on them. We alerted the waiter but she insisted that was flour, I know because I consume fried chicken on daily basis. :( I had to pluck out one strand but after that all she did was put me on hold, later telling me that they will "take note". Dang son that day I was one plate of fried chicken poorer and left with an unsatisfied craving.More

The broth is light and sweet suitable for kids to drink. The pork tenderloins are tender and serving is plentiful. Fried dough is okay. Rice texture is slightly tough. I did not eat the "soup based meesua as I did not like noodles which are...very soggy not their fault" Good service as they serve you the condiments and it includes a complimentary wet wipe. I will give this a 4.5/5 stars overall.More

The prime loin was sold out by 630pm but the normal ribs were not bad too. The soup is not as peppery as what most would be expecting, the constant free soup refills were a nice offering! The caixin was fresh and crunchy, the dough...fritters were also not drenched in oil, unlike other places. The food came quickly upon ordering so do not order too early lest the food turns cold before your entire party turns up.More
