love the ambiance in the evening, seating at the outdoor space. Ordered the half for half pizza (SGD20) that include Buffalo pizza and Hawaiian pizza. Will opt for Buffalo pizza are a cheese lover, is something that i will come back for. Also ordered the truffles fries (SGD15), but the standard of it has drop as it was not as nice as i tried previously. The waitress are friendly and even gave a complimentary dessert for my friend birthday. The dessert is based on that day availability which we got a raspberry cake for her. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience. (P/s for foreigners: do note that most restaurant comes with compulsory 10% service charge follow by 7% GST charge.)

Place was very crowded. Food was good. We ordered nasi goreng and steak for our main meal. Food arrived rather fast but drinks were very slow because happy hour so drinks were 1:1 so our second drink we had to wait very Long. On the whole had an enjoyable dinner.

Had dinner at Privé Chijmes earlier with my friends, love the ambience. Spent about $25 per person in total - food was 7.5/10 ambience 9/10. Our food was kindly recommended by the friendly staff called AR as we couldn’t decide on what to eat. Would like to thank AR for his attention to detail as he constantly refilled our water without being asked and caught the hint that we were celebrating a birthday so he offered to give us a birthday cake on the house. Overall, a great experience as we were lucky to get a table shortly despite not having a prior booking!

Having brunch last Sat 11am with a friend at Prive Chijmes was the worst ever experience.
Ordered Omelette your way and chose egg white with sautéed button mushrooms and whole grain toast. When eating the egg noticed there is a thick hair about 3 cm Long. I quickly pulled it out from the egg and highlighted to the restaurant manager and he just took the “hair” and then told me it’s mushroom hair. But I am 101% sure it’s not mushroom hair and I worked in F&B before and able to differentiate it. He didn’t ask me whether I want a change but it’s me that told him I don’t want it anymore. He didn’t pass me the menu but rather the waiter that took my order pass me the menu and I ordered another breakfast item.
The manager did not show empathy and also not react fast to customer needs. I will not go back as it was a poor service attitude and no recovery action carried out. The final bill came and charged me accordingly without show of any apology on the “hair in the egg”

The pasta and burger was extremely dry and was a huge disappointment. To top it off, one of the waiters missed our orders and we ended up waiting for 20 minutes before one of the staff realised the mistake despite several reminders and questions about the unserved order.
Overall a strong 4/10. Would not visit again.

We met some friends here wanting to try out their vegan dishes. We tried both the veggie burgers and a couple of salads, plus the Impossible meatball spaghetti. The meatballs were a little dry for the latter but otherwise all the dishes were good and the Mexican salad was presented in a particularly pleasing manner.
The backdrop of Chijmes is lovely and the neighbouring patch of grass was perfect for our two boys to kick a football around.
We enjoyed HH drinks though the pricing of the beer is quite ridiculous - setting $14 for 1/2 pint and $17 for a full pint and then offering half price for the 1/2 pint does not exactly lead to happiness.
Service was generally good and we didn't have to wait long for the food.

We celebrated our friend's hen's night at this beautiful place. There were 8 of us, and the environment was gorgeous, with it being semi-outdoors with well-placed lighting all around. The staff had excellent service, attentive to all our requests. They even produced a handwritten card with messages from the staff, sparklers and cake for photo-taking, and even used their polaroid camera to take photos of us. We were all really surprised and pleased by the level of service we received. Food arrived quickly despite our large number, and every dish tasted good. We were so happy we found the right place for the celebration!

My brunch with my friend on a beautiful Saturday was ruined by the unfriendly service given by one of the waiter. No greetings, no smile, unfriendly, and not flexible enough to take my friend’s lunch order 5 mins in advance. The restaurant was not even full house and yet my order can come out wrong.
I ordered the egg white omelette which is suppose to be healthier but it is super oily.
What’s most shocking is at payment when I realise the one extra poached egg I requested cost me $3.50 (excl tax). Ouch!
No thanks to another visit to Prive.

The menu changed from the last time I visited (which was a few years back) and the food was really disappointing. The truffle pizza was bland, the beef burger patty was tough and tasteless, and the only dish amongst those we ordered that was close to being acceptable was the fish and chips, which honestly we could have found at other places for cheaper. Also forgot to mention, the fries came cold. The price is not exactly cheap and the food is really subpar. The only redeeming quality was the ambience of Chijmes. Also, the manager at Prive Chijmes seemed to have an attitude problem. The other staff were fine.

Overall it was a memorable dinner with my family last night.Their service was definitely top notch! All the staffs were friendly but I would like to highlight one of the staff , Aaron in serving our table. He was attentive on our orders and requests even though it was a busy night. Thanks to his recommendation on different type of draught beers during happy hours. My parents were so happy in dining in Prive.
Love their chili lime salmon, however the price (~23) is not very worth the size of the salmon. The outdoor ambience is perfect for a family dinner !

A 5+ star experience to make it a perfect weekend.
After a long, hot day of walking around the city, we visited here for an early dinner.
We were attended to by AR, who made our dining experience at Prive a memorable one. From the onset of taking our orders and preparing the table and all the way till the end, he was very welcoming and attentive to our needs and made sure everything was good. It's people like AR that makes us want to come back for a pleasant meal and a great overall dining experience. We haven't had this warm and welcoming experience in a long time.
As for food, we had pan roasted half chicken, minute steak cooked to medium, and crab cakes. All three of the dishes were DELISH! Steak was cooked just right and the fries and salad were great companion to the meat. Chicken was very tender, even the breast meat so tender and juicy. The confit sauce was great and so were the baby spinach and 'tatoes. As for crab cakes, you can taste so much of the crab and it was deep fried to perfection. Them foods ain't got nuffin to complain about.
The atmosphere is another thing that makes us want to come back. Whether it's in the morning for brunch or for a nice dinner in the evening, the ambience is great for family, friends, lovers, and everything in between.
Lastly, all of the staffs including AR are the best! They're attentive to their guests constantly, it feels very welcoming.

Rude staff and unpleasant service!
Ordered a 10" pizza, a male staff told me that flavor can be mixed if I prefer a combo but he didn't inform me that this would cause a double charge on the bill. Upon settling bill, I asked why is the price doubled whilst I only ordered 1 pizza.
He answered back: "You should know you'll be charged twice if you order a double flavour!" Even after I feedback that this should be informed to me upon ordering to ensure a clear understanding, he wasn't apologetic nor try to explain in a proper manner, but rather rudely blaming me that this is a common sense and definitely customer would have expected to be charged!
Food & service not worth the price anyways. Will not return.

Firstly i like prive and this experience was a first. we waited for 15 mins after being shown to our tables before someone took our order, mind you there were hardly any diners. A very grumpy server came to take order and was very uninterested and rude. Had buddha bowl and my friend had a salad, when we ordered extra servings of the salmon and meat, he reminded us rudely that it came at an extra cost and if we were sure we wanted it. We later ordered coffee. I ordered a piccolo and requested for it to be less milky and with more foam, to which the server responded with “i can try but cant promise”. Guess what i got it a little extra milky. I really dont remember prive to have lowered their standards so badly. I really used to love this place. Hope they can get back to their original standards of service.

We had a lovely dinner at Prive chimes. Nice food, pleasant easy going casual atmosphere and Customer service was great! We were shown to our table, but we preferred a different one which was a bit more undercover and asked if we could move. The staff member swiftly went to check its availability and kindly helped seat us there all in a few minutes.
We were then lucky to have AR as our waiter to our preferred table who was very attentive, patient and very polite with all of our many questions and requests (all related to my 2 year old child: kids Menu food questions, high chair etc). Checking in and Making sure we were ok regularly, but not at all in an annoying way, which we appreciate :) Thank you so much and we will be back again!

Would strongly recommend this restaurant for others to celebrate their friend's birthday. Staffs were courteous and went an extra mile to give a slice of cake with candle, to the extent to off the fan in order to light the candle for us. Super thoughtful and great service. Food and drinks are worth the money. 😊👍
