An all vegetarian cuisine with a good ambience . The service staff did their best to serve food on time. The servers would come and explain the food . Almost fixed 4 to 5 course menu. Beautifully presented. The food tasted nice too . They...could have made a birthday visit special since they knew about it and was reminded too , but they chose not to. Not a biggie . All in all a great place to try out some good vegetarian food ! !More

A unique vegetarian dining experience over a set lunch or dinner menu … the dishes presentation is outstanding and the food is nice .. my personal favourites are the truffle risotto, baked eggplant , gazpacho tomato soup … the zucchini tower is interesting and for...their desserts the lava chocolate cake is great and the yogurt pudding , if one prefers a lighter option the setting is elegant and ideal for both business and social settings . The signage and directions to the restaurant needs improvement as we found it hard to find the place but have come again and dined both for lunch and dinnerMore

We were looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but we were very disappointed. The food was uninspired, and we couldn't understand the concept behind the different dishes. Considering the price, it was far too poor in quality. Vegetarian food deserves bether than this. The waiter...wasn't particularly friendly either.More

Enjoyed the meal and time in Joie. Food was nicely plated and tasty. First dish was Chef's Selection of Assorted Platter. Followed by Japanese Kunbu Broth with Hand Carved Tofu. And Grilled Summer Mushroom Steak on "Pu Ye" Hot Stone (monkey head mushroom on lava...stone serve with truffle mash potato). Ended off with Red Wine Poach Pear with Lime SorbetMore

This was a pleasant surprise. I went with a vegetarian friend for dinner. I’m generally a meat eater. This restaurant had some of the best bites I’ve had. While they used things like hot rocks to cook the food at the table and some molecular...gastronomy, they did not go overboard and were not gimmicky. Everything made sense. Be adventurous and give this place a try.More

The food is well designed on plates but i would not say that it tastes really good. And if you need to go to the bathroom, you should avoid it, they are dirty, which makes me dubious about the hygiene of the staff or the...kitchen.More

Shared the most wonderful meal with my husband for our first night of our honeymoon, what a special place! We were looked after so well, the staff are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us. Each course (we chose the 6...course option) was unique, beautiful and impressive - not to mention delicious. The view from the restaurant is incredible and we couldn't stop staring outside. All in all so happy we chose here! Thank you :)More

Service needs improvement. This is an old favourite restaurant of ours with an interestingly creative vegan menu. We returned to dine here after 2 years. The menu is very much the same. However the service seems to have slid. There is no longer an air...of being taken care or waited upon. It is more like a diner or burger joint which is a pity because it ruins the dining experience- these exquisite dishes served as though one is at Burger King or Shake Shack. Things seldom remain the same. They either get better or they deteriorate. I am curious what This restaurant will look like in the next 2 years. The direction is not promotional.More

3.5 is probably a fair review for this restaurant. Firstly the food - it was pretty good. Everything was a little sweet (raspberries were used in a lot of the courses). I would say the balance of 4 out of my 7 dishes was off...with just too much sweetness. But overall, I would describe the food as nice. Secondly the service - it was a little too quick. I’d barely put my fork down from the last course and my plate was being taken away to be replaced by another. Our waiter also came over with our bill before we’d finished our desserts and it wasn’t even as if the restaurant was emptying or closing. Finally the ambience - the decor was very pleasant, but it was a little too bright for a relaxing evening meal. I would probably recommend this place to non- meat eaters looking for a nicer meal in the city, but I would caveat the recommendation with the above points. It was a nice night out, but nothing too special.More

Had lunch with a friend. You get to choose the starter, the main and the dessert. Food is nice and looks very pretty. Lunch options are not as much as dinner. Reasonable pricing. Ended off with a small piece of birthday cake and the staff...sang birthday song. Wonderful!More

It was such a surprise to find a fine dining restaurant that was a 100% meatless! Food was beautifully presented on a variety of eclectic crockery styles. It tasted very good too and the customer service was outstanding. As a vegetarian I was thrilled with...all the options on the menu… my meat eating husband joined me and also enjoyed the food. Lovely view from the roof top too!More

I never enjoy meatless or Vegan meal. Came here as gf is a Vegan and I read good reviews of this place. Indeed I was impressed! Set lunch is only 35+ per pax and comes with a glass of beverage! We have 1 Prosecco each...(Taste ok not great a bit too warm). Food presentation was good and Mushroom steak was very good. Of course I'm still hungry after the meal. Total damaged is SGD 89. I thought was a steal considering how expensive dining out is these days. Ambience was great as we sat by the glass panel great views and place is still air condition. Wine by the glass selection is poor. Pls improve :)More

I would describe the food at Joie as average. The only course which really amazed me was the chefs selection to start, it was really tasty and the flavours worked well together (probably the saving grace of this meal). My main course (the truffle risotto)...was poorly done. The rice was over-cooked and tasted like rice pudding. They served it with a potato croquette which would have been nice on its own but definitely did not accompany the risotto well. They also added some sort of coleslaw on top which ruined the taste of the delicate truffle. Eating this reminded me you should never eat Italian food outside of Italy! The rest of the courses were average for the price you pay. I also found that the courses came out way too quickly - the whole meal was finished in 50 minutes. The staff did not ask us once if we enjoyed the meal or the courses which I found quite rude. They did not introduce 4 of the courses which you would expect when having the tasting menu. I think Joie has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work to make it more special. There needs to be more thought put into the flavours of their dishes.More
