I had a wonderful lunch at L'Angélus, and everything was perfect. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were really friendly and attentive despite being busy. I had the executive lunch set with the os à moelle, steak frites, and Panna Cotta. I also added...on some oysters. The oysters were one of the freshest I've had in Singapore, the steak was ready tender, and the os à moelle was really rich in taste, albeit it being slightly salty. We came as a couple and ordered the set lunch, which we thought was excellent value for money. They allowed a top up to upgrade to the French onion soup, which was absolutely sublime. The main course was delicious and sophisticated and desert was special.

The ambience is delightful and exudes a homely warmth. We were a party of 6 having an amazing time yet I can see a couple some tables away having sufficient room for a romantic evening. This is my second time and noted that even the...other diners are friendly and spontaneous - making the experience more than just a dinner. Food was flavorful yet not over the top.
