We've been treating ourselves to the Sunday Brunch at The Town Restaurant for a number of years and as soon as we heard the brunch was open again we booked a table straight away. Although a part of the brunch experience is being able to walk around, view and pick your own food the new experience is a very detailed menu broken down into simple sections and cuisines which you have an unlimited pick from. We were greeted by the amazing and friendly staff and we once sat down they explained the order process. We ordered the Chilled Seafood Delight first which was a selection or prawns, clams, lobster and crab all served on ice with sauces. The food arrived within 2 minutes. Same with our drinks that were being topped up all day so we enjoyed lovely champagne with our meals. We also ordered the sushi platter, crispy pork belly, dim sum collection, pastas for the kids and finished our meals off with ice cream and cheeses. The food always arrived very quickly. The ambiance is excellent as there is nice music playing and the staff are constantly ensuring all the guests are very happy. Our kids were treated with some Fullerton Bears which was a lovely gesture from the staff. A very very special mention to Abie, Josephine and Sherlyn for always making our visits to The Town very memorable. Best brunch in Singapore and very reasonable too. Kids eat free through July and August which is excellent. Thank you very much to all the staff. We will be back soon :)

The Fullerton Hotel F&B team along with those who assisted us (Camilla and Steve) were so wonderful in delivering one of the best dining experiences we’ve had as a family. Abiding by all the Phase 2 guidelines for safe distancing, mask wearing, exceptional cleanliness and hygiene, our Fullerton Hotel New Year’s Eve dinner was exceptional and enjoyable. The food quality, taste and artistry were top notch. The free flow of champagne along with the food pairing was worth the price tag. The ambience and space between tables was appropriate and conducive for our enjoyment. The team was well prepared and the attention to the tables in our area was focused and in flow. Thank you Camilla, Steve and the Town Restaurant & Bar team. Happy New Year!

Contd.... The room was huge with a living area facing a balcony and a view of the bay and the Singapore skyline. There was a small workstation and this led to a large bedroom. There was a walk in wardrobe with a dressing area and a huge bathroom with a rain shower and their famous bathtub.(Huge) The bed was decorated with rose petals, and helium filled balloons tied to the pillows with a cute plush teddy bear sitting in the middle. There was a cake, wishing us on our anniversary, as well. All this was exceptionally done by Ms Anne Hakqim. I would like to thank her for all the effort and the details that went into the preparation. This was just the first day. The food selection was great, especially from Town Restaurant, room service was to point and staff were well trained. The Director of Front Office, Mr Roszel Marop, paid us a visit and welcomed us to the hotel. He told me that he had arranged for a complimentary afternoon tea package, a specialty of theirs, for the next day. We had the most relaxed and pampered time ever. The staff at Fullerton have honed their skills to create the best experience for all their guests. The comfort of the large bed, the delectable in room dining from all the restaurants, the relaxing bubble bath, with rose petals, that was prepared for us were exceptional and without compare for the small price that we paid for this staycation. The small details were the most impressive. That they would think of every minute thing that would make our experience a memorable one during this pandemic. Finally, Mr Andrew even extended our late checkout very graciously. I left in awe and will definitely return, with or without a pandemic. I truly felt that I was on a holiday and that was how I wanted it. I was pampered beyond my own expectations. A very big thank you to the staff and management of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore.

Having had to leave a restaurant nearby and without a reservation we were obliged to take what was available. Having tried to get seating the excellent Jade within the Fullerton eventually over 2 hrs later than scheduled we were seated at Town. I realise that the hotels are trying to claw back money from Staycations etc, hence all the screaming kids and Staycationers taking selfies of everything. The service was awful The staff try hard but they are under staffed and overwhelmed. Food was COLD, all of it, it wasn't meant to be but it was, except for the sashimi which was meant to be and wasn't! Most ofthe food was tastless . A buffet is usually ok as you make multiple trips for stuff which either freshly cut or cooked, the overwhelmed staff here were slow at delivering and the rapidity not helped by patrons demanding souvenir pictures from places they have never been to before and but for COVID would not frequent. The waiter had an eariece which he spoent most of the tiome talking too and due to his visor and mask you were vever sure if he was taking to you and he couldnt hear you. I ordered a Napa Valley red he brought French, it was out of stock. I ordered New Zealand he brought completely the wrong wine. Obviously not my night. Would be reluctant to eat here again.

After the disruption for COVID19 the Town Restaurant has re-opened for Sunday Brunch. We have been to the brunch buffet many times prior to COVID19 and thought it was spectacular. There is no doubt that it is not the same, so, if you have been before, go with an open mind and enjoy the amazing service (thank you Abie, Sherlyn and La) and excellent food and don't expect it to be like it was before COVID19. Our glasses were never empty and the food choices were excellent. When we wanted to vary dishes a bit the staff were flexible and helpful. Some dishes weren't as hot as we might have expected but everything was nicely presented and tasted great. It was strange to have staff in masks, face shields and gloves but everyone was so friendly and happy it became unnoticeable after a while. The atmosphere is quite different with reduced guests and no buffet but The Fullerton, and The Town Restaurant makes guests feel so special and the luxurious feel in the restaurant and beautiful view will always make us keep going back. It is still an expensive brunch ($173++) but the leisurely pace means that it is a relaxing, luxurious 4 hours. It is is still a Singapore experience not to be missed.

My family decided to have dinner at the Town restaurant and it was the best decision ever. A very spacious place. The ala carte menu and the buffet spread were very well prepared and presented. The staff were exemplary especially the concierge, Mr Prabu, who greeted us as we entered, guided us to the restaurant and even brought us to our table of choice. he gave us the option to sit inside or on the patio space outside the restaurant by the river. Mr Prabu even gave us a brief history of the hotel and all the other available restaurants. He made a wonderful suggestion for us to visit the Lighthouse Rooftop Bar after dinner for some drinks. We thought it would be a good idea and after dinner Mr Prabu brought us up to the bar and it was a spectacular view. We were spell bound that such a place existed and decided to spend the evening there. We were made to feel at home and welcomed. We were tourists in our own country. The finger food and variety of cocktails and other beverages at the Rooftop Bar was an added bonus. Fullerton is indeed in good hands if their staff have such levels of service. Mr Prabu is an excellent example. we could see him always on the move and attending to someone and even striking up conversations with those who seemed lost. Loved his knowledge and couteouness. It showed that he was proudly representing The Fullerton Hotel. A great ambassador indeed. Thank you for the experience.

We were impressed by Firman and Albert highly personalised service despite the shortage of manpower.Firman even went the extra mile to get the chef to prepare a kid meal tailored for our toddler. Good job well done

We had a farewell dinner at Town restaurant. All of us were super impressed by this senior part timer waitress Mdm Wendy Eng. She was so friendly, super helpful and attentive that nothing we can fault on except the quality of the cooked /hot full. The roast duck. crab sauce, satay were all cold and not really matched to the local taste. The taste was more suitable for foreigners. Really dissapointed but because of Wendy and other servers' service. we just bear with the quality of the hot/cooked food. The seafood was ok except the mussel which my colleague said it was a bit too raw taste. As it is Fullerton Hotel, a 5 star hotel, we would have expected a better quality of the food is as good as the service provided. Lastly, may I suggested that maybe the buffet menu should include at least coffee and tea instead having us to pay additional for it.

I come to Singapore on a regular basis and The Fullerton Hotel is always on the top of my list of hotels for staying. The service has always been excellent for the past years. Last week, one particular staff just had to ruin the whole experience. I was at the Town restaurant for the breakfast buffet and I asked for a glass of orange juice for my child from one of your server Josephine. More than ten minutes later, the juice was still not served. I thought she might have forgotten as she was serving few other guests. I politely asked her again for the juice and she replied impatiently and was also very rude. The exact words she used were 'I'm getting for you already, stop asking'. I was rather shocked at the response. She proceeded to serve the juice to another table before asking another staff to bring the juice to me even though I ordered way earlier. I would have dropped the issue if the whole saga ended there and then. Unfortunately, it was far from over. She proceeded to talk to another staff and referred me to the other staff as a "3 star guest". She also said it quite loudly as if to make sure I can hear it. The other staff looked and smiled at me embarrassed. I felt so bad for the other staff so I just smiled back. I also did not want to make a scene in front of my young child. Josephine knew that I heard her and did not look at me. My husband heard her remark as well and was visibly upset. I also noticed that this Josephine keeps talking and laughing loudly through her earpiece which was very unprofessional. I am very sure that whatever conversation she was having had nothing to do with work or the operation. She was also the only staff that was not wearing a face shield, every other service staff was wearing one. This is totally unacceptable. I have no doubt that Fullerton have excellent training with regards to service standards because every staff that I have encountered throughout the years are very kind, helpful and polite. This one Josephine just had to ruin the whole experience.

Dining experiences almost always boils down to 3 factors; the location, the service, and the food. I would rate my dinner as excellent as all 3 factors were 5/5. The sambal belacan was spot on, sashimi was fresh, Asian roast platter hit the right notes. Service team was warm, efficient, and impeccable. Someone worth a special mention would be Wendy, she served me most often throughout dinner and made the experience memorable. She would offer drinks, ensure that my glass of water is always full, and also ensure I have a clean side plate as soon as I’m done with a dish. Her attentiveness and hospitality is exemplary and I hope that the hotel sees this good qualities.

This was our first post lockdown ‘free flow’ Sunday Brunch 🥂😊...When we arrived my husband wasn’t exactly pleased it was no longer a ‘help yourself’ buffet but is now menu based (in line with current rules here) with table service.....He quickly changed his mind and stopped moaning! The food was delicious, with really well sized portions and the option to reorder anything you liked, as often as you liked. All of the food arrived piping hot/chilled and freshly prepared and there was plenty to choose from, even for fussy-ish 11 year olds. A great mix of Western, Indian, Singaporean and Italian dishes etc, and all the things you’d expect to find on a brunch menu (salads, seafood, cheese, fruit, breads etc). The dessert plates were very good. Service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Everywhere looked very clean, well-spaced out and we felt entirely comfortable. We were superbly looked after by Abie, Josephine, Sherlyn and Mei, amongst others. We had a lovely family brunch-definitely recommend!! Added bonus that kids eat free at the moment...

Let’s start with the good…. Waitress Princess was head and shoulders above everyone else in terms of service and attentiveness. Honestly she was superb. The bad… the service in general was poor, to put it mildly. We didn’t get served a drop or bite of anything until 12:25 (brunch started at 12:00) and when we did it was slow and unsatisfactory. The standard food was average (that was given to you when you sat down) and the cocktails (bloody Mary’s) were clearly made by someone who has never made one before… Back to the good…… we asked Princess for another Bloody Mary and she brought us back, personally made, superb bloody Mary’s. At around 2:50pm we were told last orders… it’s supposed to be 3pm last orders so we can questioned it and got told it was supposed to be 2:30 (which it wasn’t - that was a lie) Eventually we got another serving having argued the case that we weren’t served for our first 25 minutes of sitting down. In summary…. It was disappointing. If it wasn’t for Princess, I would be asking for a refund/discount. She was running around to us and every other table trying to make sure the wheels stayed on the operation. The rest of the staff need to look to her for experience and guidance on how to operate. Will not be coming back for a while, until they’ve had a chance to catch up with the reopening - our advice is put Princess in charge of your front of house.

Went back to the hotel where we got married to celebrate our 1st anniversary (Lucky for us that phase 2 has kicked in and we are able to dine outside) and once again The Fullerton Hotel SG didn’t disappoint. We were greeted with friendly staff outside of the hotel who showed us in and Patricia, who showed us to our seats. Rey then took over as our main server for the night. He is meticulous and with his quick thinking made good recommendations for our meal. Being thoughtful, he gave us a complimentary cake with “Happy Anniversary” on it and even helped to take, printed and gave us the photos as souvenirs. He also strikes small conversation throughout our dinner to ensure the food is to our liking and that we are having a comfortable and enjoyable time. Indeed. we couldn’t have asked for a better night. Thank you to all the staff who made our dinning experience such a warm and memorable one! We will definitely be back sooner than later!

Super disappointed with the Sunday brunch . The à la carte buffet provide much less choice than the original buffet. The cheese choice and dessert are very poor but the price is the same as before. Dessert only ice cream and sponge cakes even the higher tea has better options (lemon tart ...) Will not come back until the buffet is back as originally does not worth the $$

The food here was delicious, the staff were also very friendly. One person who stood out would be the manager Lalikumar. He was very attentive, and entertained our requests such as having a Laksa without noodles or just the sashimi from the sashimi platter. The food was also delivered very quickly, and the staff would always come over occasionally to make sure that everything was going okay for us. However, one small comment that I have would be to make the menu a little bit clearer. For example, the menu at the table has the seafood platter listed, but not on the online menu that we order from. So i feel that it would be better if it was stated on the menu that we need to order it from the waiters. Other than that, my experience at the Town was splendid.
