Mediocre food which is average at best. Peking duck was a huge disappointment as it was extremely tough and lacks depth to its taste. Aside to that, pig stomach’s soup was a little off albeit the pig stomach was tender in this case.More

Chope only permit min pax reservation for 4. So I've to to pick that to confirm my reservation. When Wah Lok called couple of days before dining date, I've told them that I'll only have 2 pax for the day as the system did not...permit us to book for 2. And I was told that I should have called Wah Lok for reservation of 2 instead of relying on Chope. So we wonder why do we have an online reservation platform, if we've to dial in. The experience was definitely not the best. Wah Lok standard seems to have dropped also. The table given was allocated at 1 small room, where the table cloth wasn't as clean, and the utensils have some stains on it. Food served was not as fast, when we ordered an additional dish, we were almost rushed to finish that big plate of dish. And after we've finished it, we were reminded that there were people waiting outside, so we're being signal to leave. I guess if the food wasn't served fast enough, the guests should not be expected to gobbler up quickly just to make time for the next guest? This is not what we should expect from a restaurant located in an establisehed hotel like Carlton?More

The level of service and including the food is still of very good standards. The daily soup was so yummy, wish we could have 2 helpings each person.More

Peking Duck is very poor. Can't compare with Imperia. Almond Cream and Walnut Cream desert are very bad. Its too sweet and like water. We'll not visit again.More

Food was excellent as always, but the service left a lot to be desired. The couple of servers waiting on our table this day were curt at tines to the verge on being rude. Perhaps this is due to their overwhelming popularity and resulted in...a nonchalant attitude. Gave us a slight feeling of ‘We don’t really care to lose your business’. One of the guests at my table politely asked if they could cut up a certain dish due the the kids at the table, and was rudely told to do it herself with the spoon provided. Another server was super rough with the pouring of drinks and resulted in liquids splattering everywhere. Overall not pleasant service.More

Although their service can be quite bad during my visit last Friday evening with my 3 friends, we are glad that the chefs maintain the high standard of food. There were not much variety of food to choose from it's menu this time as compared...with last year. Too bad, great dim sum only serve during day time, which I unable to packet the baked charsiew pau. Their service standard is from average to bad that I did not expect of it. My overall customer experience is unpleasant, starting from confirmation of booking and attending customer to seats, throughout the dinner time and payment process. A good follow up is needed from the higher management so that we'll go back for more soon.More
