Newton food market was where I first got acquainted with asian street food about 30 years ago. In the interim this genre has gone mainstream so I thought it was time to go back. While it retains all the vibrancy, vitality and variety of yesteryear...More

For what it is, the prices are expensive and the food is only just ok. Prefer the hawkers in the markets. The food is better and cheaper.

We had a great time. Busy, vibrant destination, with great food. My husband finally got his chilli crab and was not disappointed. We had satay, of course, veg, dumplings, garlic prawns, noodles. Everything was fresh and so tasty.
