Went to one of the Bengawan outlet in Causeway point on 17 Nov. Bought a loaf of bread for breakfast the next morning. The expiry date indicated on the bread was 20 Nov. However, to my surprise, there was mould on the bread the next...morning! Emailed Bengawan and they said will call me to talk about it, and they told me to send them a photo of the bread. I did that, but however, it’s been one week, and no one called and no response to my email was given.More

Surprised the airport prices were the same as the shops in town. Usually the opposite in a lot of airports where they rip you off, such s KLIA. If you forget to buy them, you can get them here and not at rip off prices....My only regret is not buying moreMore

The kuih will never disappoint as always. One is never enough. Most importantly, the consistent taste.

Me and my friend went to the outlet at ION, 3 of the elderly chinese staff was damn impatient and rude to us while we ask them about the products. The service was terrible neither the price is reasonable, poor quality overall, strongly not recommended.

Very good quality Malaysian pastries/kueh. My all time favourite to buy those kueh every time I come back to Singapore. Talam gula melaka, lapis sagu and kueh angku 👌👍

No complaints about taste . Still very fantastic after so many years of patronising this place . The disappointment is in the sizes of the cut pieces of cake . Mostly uneven and thinner and at a high price . No longer value for $$....More

I buy their Pandan Chiffon Cake whenever i travel to visit relative or friend aboard. It never fail to please. The cake is light and fluffy also easy to carry and light. Highly recommended.
