We visited twice. Being a crab lover and first trip to Singapore other than on stopovers this place was 5 minute walk from our hotel. We can see it from our windows. Sitting right on the Singapore River at Clarke Quay the main reason, the crab, did not disappoint. The Sri Lankan crab, cooked promptly and without fuss arrived within... More

You can't get any better when your fish comes straight from the live tanks. We ate here twice on our recent stay at Clarke Quay in Singapore, and enjoyed both meals. A little on the expensive side, but fish isn't cheap in Singapore, and to have it so fresh is worth it.

I have dinner with my collegue order 1.5 kg crab cooked with chili style. Tasty and good. One crab 1.5 kg enough for 2 people. Only the steamed rice too hard for me. Good view side of singapore river during evening.

Chili crab was delicious and a fun dining experience. Ordered a 2 kilo crab which was petty for two of us with a side of steamed rice for each of us. Had a table facing the river. Adequate wine menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Not cheap but very enjoyable.

It was a very disappointing experience, dining at this restaurant. The food was good. The service was unacceptable. From ordering our meal it took three quarters of an hour for our first dish to come out and then the rest came out over the next three quarters of an hour, with the rice to be the last dish to arrive... It's a great location right on nightlife Clarke Quay with the tourist boats going past. The restaurant laid on a set meal for a group of 20 of us for $68 pp including free-flow soft drinks so the price was great. Starters of deep fried seafood and Spring Rolls with dipping sauces. Followed by cocount prawns (huge) and delicious. Then... More

Like always.... it was full in Jumbo's and then strolling down the quay to find a new seafood place. The Quayside seafood location looked interesting. The presentation was nice, the terrace is right next ot the water. The service was good. The choices for vegetarians are extremely limited. Though we asked a small crab, the size was huge and the... Sat down waited for 15 minutes not offered even a drink let alone food order. Got up left no one said a word, worst of all this restaurant had the least people in it of all in the area. I know why now, avoid at all costs.

Set beside the Singapore River, the restaurant offers very tasty food. The only slight criticism was the speed between courses, as we had not quite cleared the starter when the main arrived.

Service was good , we went off peak and were almost alone so extra service was available , can't knock the service or ease of booking . Alfresco outdoor setting and noisy fans all around . Heavily overpriced menu , you can get much better value almost anywhere outside the tourist hubs . I have never paid so much for... More
