You could walk past this place easily; that would be a mistake!!! Beutiful food, prepared with love and care. We were recommended it by a local and the advice was bang on. If you love Indian food of superb quaility, make this place a stop...over!More

Not bad, but variable. Lovely vegetable pakora but my main mutton dish while being well flavoured had a few tough grissly bits. The bill was a bit over the top, and as someone previously said, watch out for add ons that look as though they...are extras slipped in. The owners are affable and fun, but I am surprised by the Michelin accolade.More

Wonderful dishes including gluten free options. We were served curries I would love to be able to cook at home. Full of flavour, and suitable quantities. Will eat here again

This is an outstanding restaurant with the bustling area of Little India. We googled this first and it really stood out as being very authentic and definitely something a little different. Each dish was explained to us by the owner and what a wonderful guy...he was. His named was (apologies for the spelling if I get it wrong), Kaesaeven or (K-Seven). They have owned this restaurant for 20 years and you can understand why it is so popular with tourists and locals alike. Both the owners spoke wonderful English and they recommended what we should eat, once we explained the type of Indian food we liked. He made us step outside our comfort zones with bursting flavours and combinations. A truly authentic experience of flavours. Highly, highly recommended.More

We reserved based on their Michelin star. We were trying the various genres do food Singapore has to offer and tonight’s was Indian. The food (Flexatarian Bogi) was tasty but not super memorable. We sat upstairs on the floor for the air con. Special mention...to the personable woman who greeted us and chatted with us about Singapore.More

I expected to give this review a 5 star but the experience was ruined by the tricks of the final bill. Throughout the meal we were offered several extra dishes “let me give you this to try” and “ I have something extra for you.”...Also chai and dessert. We didn’t ask for any of the extras. We just thought the host was generous and wanting to please us on a quiet night. 5 extra items were added to the table without request and to our surprise. $193 SGD!!! For 2 people. I was speechless and walked out so disappointed. I was planning to recommend great food and a wonderful experience. Wish I had spoken out! What a trap!More

Food is decent not great but the dining experience is a disappointment for the price. The ground floor level doesn’t at really look like a restaurant, no Aircon and to wash hands one has to go into the kitchen. The staff are sitting at the...table next to you. Not ideal! Food quality decent, not remarkable but does not make up for the poor quality dining experience. The owner seems to rave about the quality but ignores the concept of full dining experience which the customer is paying the rowing for- just not food. I hope they can some something about the restaurant quality be overall experience.More

Finger licking food with amazing service. We had chutney platter to start, then chicken tika masala (Chilli level 1.5/10) and mutton varuval (lamb) with a “rice with yoghurt” (not in the menu) that neutralices the spicy flavor if you don’t like it. Well deserve Michelin...stars for some many years. When in Singapore don’t miss it!!!!More

Called in with the family completely by chance, we were looking for a good Laksa restaurant in little India. Setting looked good and ambience nice, big green ticks for both. Food was also good and cannot complain about the service, HOWEVER, the price?!! $164 SGD...for 2 small portion meals plus a few poppadoms and 3 beers plus a jug of juice. Don’t under any circumstances say yes to the puddings. $30 for some pathetic ice cream and jaggeri jam type stuff. In the most expensive city in the world, this was the worst example of overcharging by far which is saying something. Conned is not the word. The owner was one of the few people in Singapore not to have worn a mask yet he’s the one who needs one the most in my opinion, even Dick Turpin had the grace to wear one. Do yourselves a favour and give it a miss, your wallet with thank you in the morning.More

NOT FAIR!!!!..Very expensive if you are not local!!!! Different priced for foreigners. Food was not bad but quantity was very low. They charged $8 for a single Nan which is normally around $3 - $4 only.

Very nice little restaurant in this crowdy Little India quarter. Nice welcome and very good food, fresh and testy. The chicken butter is mouthtaking and you can try all the specialties in small portions, very nice to discover the a la carte menu.

Allowed Kaesavan to recommend our meal - it was all truly delicious. The chicken tikka was a revelation - who knew that’s how it’s meant to taste! And the wheat milk dessert was amazing. We will be back!

When you look at the menu you see prices here are at a minimum twice higher than restaurants in the same neighborhood…but it’s a Bib Michelin…so you expect a memorable experience with lots of extras and superior service… Disappointment is high…nothing memorable aside from the...bill S$122 for 4 tiny portions as main courses + 4 cheese nans and 4 drinks… Michelin you must have been out of your mind… We left still hungry and angry for being such fools: value is not worth the price…pass your way there are plenty of better experiences in Little IndiaMore
