This causal modern French restaurant has a lively vibe and with menu items that are good for sharing, it is a good option for gatherings.

Decided to give this place a try and we were WOWed with their food. Ambience and service were so so but if honest food is the only thing that matters to you, please visit. We had the Spanish octopus, Sakura angel hair uni pasta, “first...lite” beef and barramundi fish with saffron risotto. Each and every dish was spectacular and the portions were filling and substantial. The flavors are really great, super umami, extremely flavorful and left us with a full and happy stomach. The French chef/owner personally went table to table to check on us and if the food was okay, which was a lovely thing to do so himself. Highly recommendedMore

Come to French restaurant, I would expect more on the experience and food. However, the ambience looks like a bistro setting. The service wasn’t so attentive being less crowded night on Wednesday. The wine list is limited surprise to me in French restaurant. I would...expect the overwhelming service to explain the food and what best to eat.. but disappointing.bordered few appetisers: - 1/2 dozen of French oyster was fresh and tasty. - grilled octopus : disappointing as the Spanish octopus was overly cooked and tasted bland - pan seated Foie gras is just average and preferred more char - uni pasta with big shrimp : pretty tasty, shrimp and uni are fresh . We are sharing it as the portion is rather big for 1 person Main course: lamb rack - grilled to perfection and little pinkish meat inside. Moist and tender.More

This is the place for you if you appreciate food so good you’re still thinking about it a few days later. But if you get stressed out when you feel like you have to manage the staff yourself, it’s not. Probably also not for you...if you don’t appreciate having a 2 hour table time limit imposed on you then chasing up the staff when it’s impossible to find someone to take your order, or someone has simply forgotten something you asked for. When I ordered a dessert with a 20 minute cooking time, 20 minutes before our allotted time was up, the manager came over to find out whether I was aware of the cooking time. He rolled his eyes and sighed impatiently when I said I was. I guess he felt like we hadn’t tried hard enough to make sure we were done in time. However, having spent the entire evening chasing staff, reminding them about forgotten orders, attempting to understand the complex hierarchy of staff to work out who could answer questions about the food, and being ignored, we had very little patience left. It was not an enjoyable evening. So - pretty bad service. But I can’t fault the food, which was some of the best I’ve eaten in some time.More

A 6-course menu de dégustation with a surprise element. A delightful experience starting from duck rillettes and cod croquettes, then tuna & crabmeat salad, pan-fried foie gras on bliny, pasta with sea urchin, wagyu beef and hazelnut cream cake. This is the S$120++ per person...set. There are also S$80++ and S$100++ pp options. It would have been a 5-star experience if not for very uncomfortable warmth inside the restaurant because the air conditioning escaped through the open entrance (there is no door) and cigarette smoke from outside drifting into the restaurant.More

Friend bought me here. When we reached restaurant, we found out the table was just under the air conditioning. We requested to change, the lady was not able to give answer and she went to check. The guy came and allowed us to sit where...was a bit warm. Can see the owner talked to each table about service and food. Very good! We were so full after dinner.More

Delightful French cuisine with a Basque/almost-Spanish touch, ie....extremely flavourful. Living up to its Bar name, good wine list with some great-value, lesser-known wines, although the table of oenologists next to us took advantage of the generous $40 corkage fee to have some impressive bottles: Romanée...Conti, Château Haut-Brion, etc. The only disappointing dish in our dinner was dessert, surprisingly not refined and a bit tough. Friendly and professional service.More

Booking online is easy but the person who calls back to confirm reservation needs to be trained. Person who called back is not interested to hear what you're saying but more interested to tell you pls arrive on the time and date and if you...want to say more regarding allergen info or table selection you can forget about it. Arrived for lunch on a weekday and impressed by their crowd! Very buzzy on a Tuesday! Disappointed they usher us to be seated middle of "central station" and next to the restroom. Asked for another table and they put us at a corner but it was pretty cramped. Still better than the initial table. Tables are definitely not 1m apart. They do have to be wary of government "marshalls" Omakase is either SGD 60 or 80 per pax. Difference is 60 for 3 courses and 80 for 4-5 courses. But when you ask server what does it comprises of? Server will just say if you've less allergen or all things you can eat, then you'll have more option of food. Is bizarre. We opt for SGD 60 and is ~ 5 courses total. More than enough for big eater. I'm very hungry at lunch time. I can't even finish the beef main course. The course came out nice and tasty but the time wait between 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th course is ridiculously long. 4th course is the main course such that I've lost my appetite. The last course dessert was too sweet for my liking. Wine by the glass only has 2 types. Both are good but at SGD 20 a glass. Is rather steep for a lazy lunch boozy trip. We had 5 glasses each and they decided to charge us 2 bottles. If you use Math, sure SGD 20*5 = 100, a bottle is 98. So we're better off SGD 4. However, they should then really let us finish the 2 bottles! Coz their 5 glasses each are no way = 2 bottles :) Overall is a nice place for good lunch but I couldn't rave about it as the omakase lacks personal touch. It feels like a set lunch not omakase. Omakase is personal and chef/server takes a lot more pride presenting and introducing. yes I know SGD 60 per pax, we can't be choosy.More

Located in a shophouse, this restaurant serves good value French cuisine in generous portions, and is deserving of more attention. Their Beef Wellington is a must-try, the best I have had in town!
