Dine at the restaurant for dinner. We ordered the set menu and the food is very tasty. The staff was very attentive. However it will be better if they pace the serving of the food properly.

It is an average size restaurant at National Gallery. I was pleasantly surprised that they had fried brown rice in their menu. I requested for grounded ginger to go with the popular steamed yellow chicken and was happy that they gave it to me. Service...More

We had dim sum here, which didn't stinge on quality ingredients. However, even with the quality, the price was still a but high. We were a party of 4 and the price came up to about $110 before discount. I guess this would be reasonable...More

We used the entertainer app to get one-for-one promotion on ala carte item. The siu mai and the roasted duck are really good! The lotus glutinous rice is quite special, as it is more like Hainanese chicken rice as your typical version.

Description
Art aficionados enjoying the contemporary cultural experience at the National Gallery Singapore will find that the journey continues at Yàn, the museum's haute Cantonese restaurant. Our chinoiserie chic interior design sets the stage for a sophisticated dining experience from the outset. Waiters escort diners past red folding screens and pull back ivory white seats ornamented with a splash of red tassel. The main show is of course, the masterful display of culinary arts by Master Chef Chan Kung Lai whose 20 years of experience lead your hungry stomachs to applause. Chef Chan and his team cooks up a visual storm of delicate dim sum, golden barbeque delights, broths teeming with flavour, seafood feasts, dainty pastries and not forgetting his signature wok-fried dishes.
