When it comes to Bak Kut Teh, my preference has always been the Hokkien or Klang herbal style as I find the Teochew style too peppery and the brooth lack the pork ribs' flavour. I was curious as to what gained this place a spot in the red book so decided to give it a try, but it turns out... More

The place is known for its spare rib soup or otherwise known locally as "bak kut teh". If you like pork bone broth with a hint of black pepper and garlic then you'll enjoy this famous dish. They also refill the soup free of charge!

Avoiding peak hours as the queue can be quite long. Usually we will go about 11.40 or 1.40 when the queue is more manageable. I prefer the normal pork rib vs the dragon bone rib (although some claimed dragon is more soft and tender I find it otherwise). You could ask for top up of the soup. A cup of... More

I've been here several times and I think I like their fish soup with steamed nuts and dough fritters (YouTiao) on the side. It's $10 and the soup is served whenever you want more. Don't come exactly at lunch or dinner time (12-1.30pm and 6-7.30pm) or you'll have to wait in a long queue.

Great food and fast service. but only the space is quite small and queuing to get a seat is challenge.

For Bak Kut Teh lovers you would not want to miss this Michelin guided eatery in Singapore. Usually we would frequent Ya Hua Bak Kut Teh but it was closed that day and we headed to Song Fa instead. We weren't disappointed. Although on a personal preference I prefer spicier and more pepper to the soup found at Ya Hua,... More

Arrived at 955pm, last order 10pm. So no queue, and no madness inside. The original and expanded space are side by side, the former closes 1 hour earlier Ordered the pork rib soup, chicken feet and youtiao. All good, and they stew the chicken feet the way i like it Plesaant service as restaurant was closing for the nght and... More

The taxi driver recommended me to go this restaurant. It looks always busy but we didn't take so many time to have our seat. Main dish was soo tasty and delicious. A little spicy so my 10years old daughter could also eat it all. But they charge for wet tissue and cold water. 味はとっても良かったです。お肉はとても柔らかくいい感じ。スパイシーさもちょうどいい感じ。混んでたけどそんなに待ちませんでした。 お水とウエットティッシュお金かかるので注意。
