The Ikea Alexandra restaurant is located on the first floor of the shop.
It offers quite a few reasonably priced options (not excessively cheap), both hot and cold dishes, so there will always be something on the menu to please everyone.
Personally, ribs, chicken wings and almond and chocolate cake are among my favorites.
The only catch is that it is always crowded, so during lunchtimes and weekends, the queues that form are impressive. Still, the service is pretty fast, so the queue moves fast, and the restaurant is great.
It is a good option to rest and recharge without having to leave the store.

We went for the Muslim option and the food was good, especially the rendang, which was flavourful and fork tender. The chicken wings now come in 2,4 or 8 piece options, and also with fries, which can lead to a carb overload. The fries are very good, being crispy yet not too oily or salty. If you are an Ikea member, and the membership is free, you get either a coffee or tea free with each main dish.

Good food at good price. There is always a queue here during meal hours. Popular place for the young & elderly, even for people who ate not here to shop for furnitures. The all time favourites are the Swedish meatball, fried chicken wings. They offer special items from time to time like Mala crayfish, baked chicken with curry sauce, black pepper pork chop etc.

Visited the newly renovated Bistro and was absolutely disappointed with the drop in food standards and quality, which I highly recommended to mum
Soya ice cream far too sweet. Hot dog cold and dry, even the sauces are tasteless. Hope Ikea will improve going forward.

First time patronised this restaurant for our dinner but I like the food here. IKEA is very customer centric and creates such a friendly and enriched experience for her customers.
The price is reasonable and the atmosphere cosy. No wonder the queue was long though the restaurant manages very well and efficient. Tray trolley provided and the flow very systematic and we had our food in less than 10 minutes. Self serving drinks are also in dispensers for the convenience of the customers.
I came with my family and we ordered 3 plates of salmon fillet with hollandaise sauce and one plate of plant balls with mashed potato and mixed vegetable. Both cost $10/- and $6.50/- respectively. I found the food very healthy and delicious. Low in carbohydrates and sugar. Just what I am looking for in a healthy meal. I chose still water over diet coke though the diet coke is also sugarless. How good our hawker center can provide such healthy food at such cost.
After our dinner, we went around the shop looking for ideas for our new home. It was a very enriching experience with one stop service with dinner and shopping in one go. Brilliant idea and only company who cares for their customers can do this.
Thumb up for IKEA! I will come again.

Given local appreciation of spicy food it might come as a surprise to find IKEA’s relatively simple Scandinavian cuisine so appealing. But it’s packed at mealtimes and even does a good trade at breakfast. Maybe it’s the clean efficient family-friendly nature of this place that also appeals to Singaporeans. The menu is predictable and reasonably priced, two assets when feeding children who might have quite specific likes and dislikes.

With the current situation of Covid, we are supposed to practice social distancing. But I guess Food drew us close n brought us here.
However, the taste can be much better. I have tasted better days.
The chicken is not fresh tender (tasted frozen) n certainly not succulent.
The lobster is served not hot, maybe slightly warmed. Think they can’t cope. The pincer is not cracked or cut. You have to manage somewhat. But please be mindful should you decide to crack it using your jaw...!!!😱
But the presentation is ok. 😂
Hope to taste better food.
Used to be very good years back.

Delicious swedish style and local food choice. Really Big serving at friendly price. Imagine eating a filling and yum vegetable spring roll at only 1.50 for 2 pcs.How about a cinnamon bun at 1.20/pc and a complimentary coffee if you're an Ikea member. Hope you can check out the pictures and agree with me😊.

An industrial type canteen rather then a restaurant. Queue in, take a trolley and tray, pick up your desserts, salad or cold dish. Order your choices of main courses from a tv panel of the dishes available. Ordered their salmon filet, Swedish meat ball and chicken wings. Pick up your drinks and pay at the pay counter and pick up your tea bag. Self service counter for cutlery, tissues, hot water after payment. Find a table and have your meal. Clear your trays to a collection point and you have finished. The food tastes was acceptable. Perhaps a canteen for many surrounding businesses. Price is about $8-11 per dish.

We always get the meatballs and wings and they are always great! Hot, tasty, quick delicious meal.
The wings are always well seasoned and super crisp. We tried the limited edition mala wings but they didn't have any mala flavor, maybe the chef forgot? Didn't mind thought because they still tasted great as normal.
Love their desserts too, very sweet but always very nice.
I tried their shrimp pasta for the first time but it was too bland, almost like eating very watered down pasta sauce. This was the only thing I've tried which wasn't great but I'm happy to keep going back for the meatballs and others.

Happened to be searching for lights and felt peckish so stopped for a bite. Surprisingly, the salted egg chicken wings, though cold, were pretty tasty.
The lobster was really small, and had a couple of potatoes and vegetables. It was cooked way in advance, and the meat was rubbery.
The lotus leaf rice was also cold and therefore also a little rubbery. The meal cost around $35.

No soya ice cream😢, most children did not appear because of this. ‘Smalland’ was empty. The staff said that they will include it in August🙏.

I stayed nearby IKEA Alexandra and used to frequent the restaurant for some coffee. The coffee is fragrantly aromatic, but I would drink the coffee not at the restaurant but slowly sipped it while relaxing at an eco-park behind IKEA. There are wooden seats among the trees and plants, and I enjoy the therapeutic `shinrin-yoku' (forest bathing) effect among the rustic greenery here. You can hear the cicada buzzing sound even during the day. This park is the Rumah Tinggi Eco-Park but very few people have heard of this park as it is well hidden behind IKEA Alexandra.
This narrow slither of land was once the former KTM-Alexandra Railway sideline which was constructed for military use in the 1930s. In the 1950s, the sideline served the Archipelago Brewery Company (ABC) which produced `Anchor Beer'. The Customs was located within the ABC warehouse. In 1983, this railway was expunged when Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) was constructed. The sideline was later converted to a neighborhood park and the park was opened to the public in 2014. It is no wonder that a train playground that resembled a locomotive is constructed for children in the park.
If you are coming to IKEA restaurant or going to ABC Brickwork Hawker Centre, why not come here with your cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the rustic vibe of this little eco park.

I only visit the restaurant on the 2nd floor.
I love the food so much. The chicken wings are perfect and so is the meatballs. Although the ribs arent that nice, i still love the french fries that came with it and so is the mashed potatoes. I REALLY LOVE YOUR FOOD. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! 🥳
