The food was nice but the service was lack lustre. Made a special request that it was a birthday celebration, there was no compliment candles with the dessert. There were kids were running around the restaurant and screaming at the top of their lungs, it...took another patron to prompt the waiter to get the kid’s parents to control their kids. They we over ordered by quite a bit and wanted to take away the rest of our desserts. After making payment, it took 15 minutes and 2 prompts from the waiter to assist with the takeaway. Overall service felt very sub standard and it was a far cry away from the amazing food.More

The meal was delicious and Sean - the duty manager - was friendly and welcoming ! We had initially not planned on Dempsey for dinner, but was convenient and on the way home, so we made a last - minute decision. Turned out to be...a good one !More

Excellent location. We sat outside to enjoy the surroundings of Dempsey Hill.There were many dogs sitting beside tables, and they often barked at each other. So, if you are not a dog lover, I would recommend inside seating. Menu had something for everyone. Friendly servers...quickly attended to our requests. Expected food to be slightly more tastier - perhaps, my choice wasn't the right one!More

We ordered the crap angel hair pasta and the fish curry and they were both amazing. Roasted cauliflower in the curry was delicious. Really great food! Favourite meal in Singapore so far and that is saying alot!

Our waiter began the experience by chastising two members of my group for ordering food that was unavailable (the menu clearly stated that breakfast items were unavailable after noon but did not state that the remainder of the food was unavailable before noon—we were there...for Saturday brunch, so it was a little odd that only breakfast could be ordered at 11:00). I don’t think anyone enjoyed their food. My huevos rancheros were sickeningly sweet. On the bright side, there was extremely little of it—essentially two eggs with nasty sauce for $26. The remainder of the menu was similarly overpriced. The waiter made me repeat my order of masala chai three times and point to it on the menu, but in the end he decided I really wanted a latte and brought that instead. Fortunately, our interactions with the rude waitstaff were minimal except for the woman who aggressively refilled our waters. Shortly after we had asked for the check, the waiter made a final appearance to ask when we were leaving. The better question is when we’ll be returning. Never.More
