We had a business lunch there.
Reservation was working out alright but they left the entrance door open which was just next to our table with all the hot air coming in - why would you leave the double glass door permanently open? We couldn't even close it bcs it was blocked in the open position.
Service: very friendly but sometimes a bit overwhelmed I would say
Drinks came well after the food was served we almost finished the soup before our drinks arrived. - Why would a glass of beer and a glass of juice take that long?
The soup (wood roasted carrot & lentil) and the main dish a vegetable only Mezze Platter were very delicious, as was the craft beer.
The coffee however was only lukewarm.
In all I can recommend the food - really delicious but the service as much as the coffee must improve. would have rated very good if the above mentioned issues wouldn't have been there.
I did find the pricing ok contrary to some other reviewers who said it was pricey.

We had a lot of requests for the staff but all of them were very patient and accommodating. The waiter that served us, William, was especially patient and friendly and helped create such a fantastic birthday dinner for my family. The ambience was amazing with the nighttime view of the skyscrapers in CBD and the Singapore River. The food was served on time and the food was extremely worth for its price. I recommend everyone to try out Prive at Asian Civilisations Museum !!

Manager was very friendly and personable. Loved the service! Outdoor area is nice and cooling at night. Dinner for 2 - 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 drinks came up to $90+ which is great for a locale like this.

I was looking to get some lunch after browsing through the exhibits and as this restaurant was in the building, I thought to myself...why not? I have eaten at their other outlets so the brand was not new to me.
Outdoor tables are available, so one can enjoy the scenery and people-watch, if you can deal with the humidity and would like to get out from the cool environment indoors. I was led to a table that was relatively shaded by a huge tree. Water was served immediately without me having to ask and a physical menu was presented, quite different from some restaurants where QR codes seem to be the norm.
The menu has both Asian and Western dishes. I chose the tried and tested Hainanese Chicken Rice. In my haste, I forgot to mention my preferences. Luckily, though the meat was served with its skin, which I had to remove, the portion was from the part of the chicken I liked, so I need not have to deal with the bones. The list of desserts are plentiful, unlike some restaurants with a limited number. Tiramisu did the trick for me, but I felt it was slightly runny, perhaps due to it being served outdoors or to the fact that it had been sitting at the counter for awhile, waiting to be picked up. As a matter of fact, there was a delay, and I thought my order was forgotten.
I like that the staff made it a point to swing by constantly, checking up on me. Often, one sits and rushes through our meals, not allowing ourselves time to savour each bite. I spent almost an hour there, all well worth it, I must say.

Service is not so prompt but once you get seated the food is good - had delicious cake this afternoon and a drink. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Good food menu with vegetarian options.
Nice ambiance. Asked to vacate my table after one hour which is reasonable given the limited seating and need for turnover. Good policy in Singapore because many locals think if they buy a coffee they have the table for all afternoon.
Enjoyed my visit and gave me energy for my visit to ACM.

I came with a friend for an evening meal, mid week. We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect with tables well spaced apart for social distancing. The attention our waiter gave us was excellent, with prompt service, regular check ins, refills of water and a quick delivery of food after ordering. We enjoyed the food; both of us had salads that had fresh ingredients and were very filling. It was an enjoyable evening and I will be back!

Good for families with children - had a small play area (although toys were very worn) and some fisherprice cars that I saw other kids walking in the compound. Outdoors and indoor seating and a good place to sit and chill. Food is quite good, an international mix. The coffee was also satisfying. Quiet even on a weekend lunch as the CBD area has a soft crowd then.

We visited recently on a Friday for lunch and was served by William, who was attentive, friendly and very helpful. He also helped us take a couple of pictures at the table. Generally, the food was delicious and it was an enjoyable meal in the city, sitting outside n taking in the river view.

With the COVID pandemic, I had to celebrate my birthday in a different way this year. A friend of mine booked Prive near the Victoria Theater for a party of 3 for my birthday dinner. Prive complied with all of the necessary precautions (eg trace together, sanitizer, temp check, wait staff all wearing masks and social distancing amongst patrons). Since we had booked reservations online we were able to get a seat outside along the river. Scanning the menu, there were quite a lot of options for vegetarians. I had the plant based lentil burger (the other option for the patty was an impossible burger patty) with a side of fries. The burger was flavourful, had that lentil texture (I liked it). There was also a bit of teriyaki taste to it which I suppose was from the gravy rather than the lentil. The service was amazing. Half way through the service, Janice, one of the wait staff, found out that it was my birthday. She had then arranged for a complementary slice of cake (good sized chocolate cake slice with an interesting coconut after taste) and a cocktail that had little bits of pomegranate in it. Moreover she went over and beyond, being nice to take multiple pictures of me and my friends to capture the moment and giving a complementary birthday card with a heartwarming message from the staff there. At first I thought it was all my friends’ efforts and request to the restaurant but it was actually all done by Prive. Considering that it was my first time to visit, they had gone out of their way to make my birthday dinner pleasantly surprising. The food was good but the service is the reason why I will probably come back and recommend to my friends.

I had booked a table from Chope and in the comment wrote that I am celebrating my gf's bd. At the reserved time, we were shown a table outdoor with a nice view. The service staffs are very attentive and friendly. We ordered Impossible Meatball Spaghetti, Tracy's Favourite Salad (portion is very big for a small size), Sticky Dates Pudding, Hazelnut Praline Cake and Bandung Float. We love them all and find the food very delicious. When our mains were finished, the staffs came with an extra slice of choco cake with candle. They sang a birthday song and took a instax pic for us. The evening was so enchanting and memorable for us. Def worth visiting!

Aglio olio was tasty though the pork belly was too salty for me. Staff were helpful and We were glad one of them changed our table to a more shady area as it was the noon sun at that moment of the day. Enjoyable dining experience as the coffee beverages were also good and we were served w iced water immediately after seated.

The portion of the laksa was very disappointing, it was so much less than pre-covid time. When we asked the service staff, we were told that the portion has always been like this since pre-covid - this is certainly not true as we were regular customers prior to covid and laksa was always our favourite. Ordered 2 pieces of cakes too, the cake was so thin that it looked like it’s going to fall anytime. Nearly half of the size of precovid time. We definitely appreciate the difficulty of restaurants due to covid and inflation, but we would rather the restaurant increase the price by say 10%, 20%, instead of just cutting the portion like this and yet still told the customers that the portion has always been like that. Overall disappointing experience and hope that the restaurant will take customers’s feedback and make some improvements going forward.

Had a wonderful experience today at Prive thanks to Janice. My family came down for a dinner this evening and was met with an emergency as a member was unwell and nearly fainted! Without hesitation, she immediately attended to us with patience, care with utmost professionalism. We are extremely grateful to her. In addition, all other staff were extremely friendly, food was also of high quality and catered to our vegan diets. As frequent patrons of Privé, we will definitely continue to support this chain. Thank you once again to Privé group and Janice especially for making our evening such a lovely one!

I would like to compliment your waiter William Thong at the Prive Café located at ACM . On 17 July 2020 , he was our waiter and my girlfriends and I had excellent service. He suggested some wines, appetizers and was very prompt and always there to check on us and see that everything was okay with a smile . Excellent service !

It’s facing the river and it’s really chilled out and quiet. Love having a discussion as there is lesser crowd.
Ordered a berry banana smoothie, it’s unsweetened (good for ppl who wanna lose weight). Added honey though.
Had a tiramisu & the Vegan Brownie too. Love that the vanilla ice cream is vegan too!
Great service from William! Very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Thank you william!
