Well...usually after a daylong ski-ride one would like to relax...and have a delicious meal in a cosy atmosphere: here we are at the MONTANES in Farellones, just up from Santiago after forty-two 90° curves (be careful because the up and down direction time table is different) Inside you will meet Wood and Wood again, very homy and also very inviting:... After a 20 minutes line we seated in El Montañes. We ordered a salad shrimp and a pizza, both were very good. Everything is a little overpriced as expected in a mountain restaurant. What is annoying is the insistence of the waiters asking if you want to order something else before you finish your plate. We understand that there was... More

Waiters couldn't care. Took 1 hour to get a drink and we had to go ask for it ourself. Surely it's doenst take an hour to run a simple drink to a table and that was after half an hour we waited before a winter finally took our order for a drink when we asked them too. Wouldn't recommend this... More

Parking is a pain, and then the take TOO much time to accommodate customers and serve food. They don't know how to manage a restaurant, yet.

Very expensive for a average food. The tourism company said it was cheaper than the restaurants at the resort, so we went and end up paying so much too. The view is the best of there.

This restaurant is like a cabin. Great environment and people. My recommendations: tabla curva 40, Entrañas, el Pintor Salad and Celestinos. When you get in to the Restaurant you will meet Karla. She will greatly take you to your table. Then Felipe will take care of you. Then you will meet Paloma and Alejandra. Just watch where the smile is... More

I met some friends for drinks here a week or so ago (no food) and noticed a few families enjoying themselves so I thought it would be great to take my 3 girls to lunch. Once inside I realized that this made perfect sense for the surrounding neighborhood and crowd. It is a replica of their restaurant in the mountains... More
