Ok, the hook for this place is that's typical Chilean cuisine. Let me tell you something, you're gonna be stuck in a very crowded, very loud, very expensive restaurant that servers dishes /called/ after Chilean food, yet they've been changed in such ways that makes them not taste like the food they're named after. As a Chilean myself I feel... More

This is a very special place. Not many restaurants can offer a (mostly) chilean menu and reinvent it for so long and so well that you want to come back and try the very same meal again. Everything you try here comes with a touch that makes you feel like home, but tastier enough that you want to repeat the... More

The restaurant is located near the Manuel Montt Metro train station on in Providencia. There are two entrances - one in the bar area with tables. Service is very good. The restaurant is clean and spacious. We had a delicious dinner - Fricassee Seafood and Pastel Chilote (a batter-topped casserole popular in Chile). Draft beer is available and wine -... More

Outstanding food and service If you want to eat traditional Chilean this is the place to go. Although very pricey it was absolutely superb. The restaurant seemed to get busier after 9pm

Ligaria offers Chilean specialities with an Italian twist. The restaurant is very nice with antique decor in and informal arrangement. We tried congrio al pil-pil, Chilean style smashed potatoes, milanesa parmesana and mechada con spaghetti. Service is also very good.

We went here after work for drinks and snacks. The food was great and the beers and wines went down well. Solid selection of wines and beers and extensive menu. This place deserves its rating. Also very convenient next to metro station.

Nice place, lovely actually, but the booze is way too expensive. This isn't London, New York or Tokyo.

My Chilean distributor suggested this place. Amazing food...to start we had MACHAS A LA PARMESANA wich is a clam like seafood topped with parmesan cheese, delicious!! And for main course I had PLATEADA, a beff cooked in the oven, soft, flavorful, juicy and delicious...to drink Sangria and Lemonade.. I don't recommend their sangria and the Service could be better. Great... More

Liguria has amazing food, but if you want the true experience, you MUST order the pisco sour with basil. I would return to Chile just to have another!
