The service was above and beyond but the ambiance felt impersonal. Strong flavors and interesting selection of local ingredients made it a special culinary experience. In My personal experience I didn't enjoy the wine list and most of the dishes were too strong for my...More

This is the type of restaurant worth traveling around the world for. And that's practically what I did. Simple decor. Exceptional service. Over the top food and wine. It just doesn't get any better.

I have been several times and this time things have changed. They make clicking noises to talk to each other and it's very disturbing. They have a lot of rules to eat there and are not at all flexible. I have special dietary needs and...More

So I had high expectations for this restaurant prior to visiting. I'm a fan of molecular gastronomy, but like it with flavor. This time, I was a bit disappointed. There was only one thing other than the dessert that I really liked and enjoy eating....More

Borago is absolutely amazing - possibly the best meal I have ever had. Every dish presents unique flavours, every dish is memorable, and every dish is new in some way to a European like me. The menu changes often so it makes little sense for...More

We visited Boragó a week ago and we had an interesting evening. Our reservation was very late at night (around 23:15 p.m.) that was already a surprise. Having in mind it was genuinely clear that we would have dinner that late, we were firstly suspicious,...More

The best experience we had in santiago and the most expensive. The restaurant is a beautiful house with a sophisticated and relaxing ambience. The menu takes it time so that you can enjoy the food and your companions. It is a culinary taste of Chile...More

This is supposed to be the best restaurant in Chile, and one of the best in Latin America, and we had a very good expectation, ordering the 15 course full menu with wine pairing. What a mistake...the dishes were almost all cooked with the most...More

I dined solo and had a great experience at the table. There was a bar but it was more of a waiting area. Also, it appeared there were some late walk in customers, so don't be deterred if you can't get a reservation. Call... More

Well to be honest 10 percent sevens to rule here but I break it often with Portland/NYC type service and go to 20 percent. All cards are accepted but save yourself the worry and don't even walk in Borago. It is a scam.
