My evening at Galindo was going OK - lively ambiance and decent food - until the end when I was full so I asked to take away the rest of my main course and ordered a dessert to go, along with the check. When I got the check, I was shocked. There were 2 extra charges - $500 pesos for... More

Had my first Chorrillana in Chile at this place after seeing the place on a YouTube video, so decided to give it a go. It was summer and had a homebrew beer together with this massive and tasty dish ( for 2) and they made it real fresh, crunchy fries and very tender meat... so if you are in Bellavista... More

Really nice restaurant recommended to us by our walking tour guide. Whilst i didn't have a Chilean dish my food was delicious and the waiter was really friendly.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the tour guide during our Free Walks Santiago tour as a taste of true ethnic Chilean food. We asked the waiter what to order and pointed to other tables where the locals were eating to ask what they were having. This is a locals place so you can't go wrong. Order what they... More

So I abandoned one terrible dinner elsewhere and started fresh at Galindo's and it fantastic! My search is always authentic local eats and this place offers an excellent combination of authentic and delicious! I had the corn pie "pastel de chocolate" and it was hearty and delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable. Nothing but likes.

This joint was pointed out to us during our walking tour so we made our way back there the next day. Had a delicious pie with the mashed corn topping and also the Vego bean dish. Both were very filling and tasty! Service as only ok but you can pay on card!

This was a great choice in an area with so many choices! Lots of wonderful choices of native foods. The service was great. Our waiter was helpful and friendly.

We went here for dinner as we were staying in a hostel nearby. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and the service was quick. It was full of both locals and tourists (the area is quite touristy). We got a meat platter to share with sausage, chicken, pork, steak and chorizo. It came with a few boiled potatoes... More

Shortly after we checked into our nearby hotel, we asked for a recommendation for a place to have lunch, and prefer to avoid the typical tourist spots and join the locals. This place fits the bill. We had been told to try pastel de cholco, and so glad we did. I'm going to attempt to make this dish at home... More
