If you want fine dining this isn't for you but if you're after a reasonably priced meat fest ,this might hit the spot.Staff speak little English, I speak little Spanish but we were able negotiate the Spanish only menu. My wife had the meat and said it was tender,I had the basic risotto which was very filling. Those on a diet... More

Is like a typical parrillada place for a bbq meal. Not so good, but enough to get satisfied... The service is good. But in the neighborhood there a lot of better restaurants.

I am on a calorie budget so I like to expend the available calories on really good food. So, I am less concerned about the price than the quality. Parillada la Uruguaya was OK but definitely not worth the calorie expenditure. There was actually no redeeming value. Ambience was bland, (this was the Providencia restaurant - Nunuoa might be better),... More

Yes, authenticity is something to be applauded, by all means. I love the atmosphere of foreign restaurants in Santiago that cater to expatriate communities. But at La Uruguaya...I don't know, something was off. I think it was the service. They were glum, slow, and seemed like they'd rather be doing something else. The food was OK (the desserts were great,... More

Seriously tasty meat! Order a big platter of stuff to share - you won't be disappointed. Very relaxed surroundings and top service.

With a smoky grill in the middle an a lively, busy atmosphere this is a great place to eat meat. For around 25 dollars three can eat a mixed grill with a couple of glasses of wine . Meat dishes vary from walnut stuff black sausage to fat fillets. Quality is decent, though occasionally cuts can not be as good as... More

Went for family Sunday lunch. A little rustic but nice place. Service good and food to die for - yummy and plentiful. Very reasonably priced. NOT for vegetarians!

This is a local parrillada / BBQ restaurant but the food is very good. It's simple, the service is fast, there is nothing fancy about it but it's good. It's worth booking because in the evening it was full and anyone without a reservation had to wait. The restaurant is outside the centre of Santiago.

Excellent food all around, and very reasonably priced. Just dont ask the manager for any favors. We were a group of 20 celebrating a birthday, and they insisted on charging us 30k pesos to eat a cake we had brought along. No reasoning with the manager. Even the waiters were speechless. Spoilt what had been a perfectly fun and decent... More

Chimichurri (garlic, cilantro and spices mix), Pamplona (stuffed chicken) and Morcillas (Black sausage with peanuts filling) are their signature dishes. Ideal for group gatherings.
