Food was the worst we had in Chile - by a country mile. Should be called the Venus flytrap as when you descend the long staircase down, it’s very hard to escape! Everything had clearly been frozen and reheated, my fish and chips tasted like...More

Inedible food, poor service and an experience I’d wished we could have avoided. Streak was inedible, fish and chips frozen and tasteless. Expensive, and disgusting, nothing local or fresh about this place.

Three of us went there last Friday after work to have some Belgian beers on the terrace.. We took advantage of the offers that were available that day; 2 Leffe Blonde for $5000, 2 Bush for $7000. We considered the prices reasonable. The beers were...More

We came here largely for the vegetarian options as these are limited in Chile. We had a great meal - the terrace is lovely with a good view over the harbour. The staff are very friendly. We had vegetarian croquettes to share, then I had...More

My husband and I came here given the great reviews. We sat on their nice patio and listened to some good live music. However, we both ordered fish and it was incredibly bland. We had to ask for salt, lemon juice, etc. to attempt to...More

Thank you for your comments and we are very glad you enjoyed the atmosphere at ViaVia. We regret the fish was not up to your expectations. It is true we ask our kitchen staff to go easy on the salt, pepper and spices so people...More

Lovely spot for a drink. Beautiful view of the sun going down over the harbour. Nice range of drinks, polite staff. Food needs a bit of work: meat dish was ok but vegetarian eggplant crepe main and veg croquettes not great dishes, the former a...More

My salmon was good and my wife’s beer beef stew was fine as well. The nice patio was initially spoiled by a loud circular saw working on the premises. My beer order was forgotten. No real problems and if you eat here you will likely...More

I stayed here for 2 comfortable, relaxing, fun nights. It's run by an accommodating, interesting, and informative staff. Great tips (with maps) on places to visit and things to do in town, and able to guide me to the less touristy parts of town. I...More
