We discovered this magical place one evening when we were a bit lost searching for another restaurant. Been here almost everyday. We love it, the AMAZING pancakes the magic coffee and the tasty food. Good wifi and you can chill here for ages. But bring warm clothes in the evening it gets a bit chilly even with the heating on.

Had dinner here last night. Staff and setting are pleasant enough tho it wasn't very busy. The house red wine was good but the food was decidedly average. My lasagne was full of very rubbery cheese.

I went here for breakfast expecting the coffee to be amazing considering the name. Although the service was good and the food was tasty (we ordered the French toast and chicken panini) the price was quite high for breakfast (over 20 USD). I think this place probably is better value for dinner as the prices for the main meals on... More

We went for breakfast while in Quito. They had good Americanos, eggs, fruit, pancakes etc. Good service.

Pleasant place serving excellent fresh fruit juices (loved the carrot/beet/ginger one), salads and other non vegetarian fares (the grilled chicken and fresh grilled pineapple sandwich is hearty and quite satisfying). there is also a guides/books exchange cabinet, well worth it, as guide books are quite expensive in Quito

I don't review a restaurant until I've eaten there 3 times. My second time was so fabulous that I went back a week later to have the same dish again: beef in mushroom sauce. And it did not disappoint the second time around. Great service. fabulous food, reasonable prices. YUM YUM.

We were searching for a great breakfast spot to satisfy our hungover cravings. We did not find it at Magic Bean. The decoration is very boring and dull, the food was not very tasty and I only finished it because I was starving. Ordered the vegeterian hamburger, but it was very dissapointing. Needed a lot of ketchup to get some taste,... More

I have been here three years ago, that is why choose now first. Good place, good food, big portions. Friendly stuff.

With a little higher aspirations than its neighbors this place offers a medium range in food and drinks.

I ate dinner here twice because it is had a lot of veg options for me. Pros 1. Centrally located in the Mariscol district 2. English menu 3. Big portions (and I eat a lot) 4. Lots of vegetarian options that could potentially be vegan, however when I tried to veganize something (I asked no cheese and I said it... More
